CHI SIAMO?

Siamo Daniele e Claudia, da Genova.

Si, forse l'ennesima coppietta online che fa viaggi.

MA ci sembrava davvero un peccato non poter rendere pubblico un diario che, pagina dopo pagina, vuole raccogliere continue esperienze in giro per il mondo.

Mostrare, insomma, attraverso i nostri occhi quanto ci sia del bello là fuori. Quanto, anche nella vita di tutti i giorni perché no, si possa provare meraviglia e stupore se si è disposti a guardare. Perché, appunto, something is always happening.

Cercheremo quindi di condividere qui e su Instagram alcuni dei nostri scatti, informazioni e alcuni dei più bei attimi vissuti.

In particolare nelle foto qui sopra ci trovavamo al #ColledelNivolet in occasione del compleanno di Daniele.

Il Colle del Nivolet è un valico alpino situato all'interno dell'area protetta del #ParcoNazionaledelGranParadiso, vicino al confine italo-francese ad ovest.

Facilmente raggiungibile in auto, è caratterizzato da una vasta prateria ed è famoso per i suoi laghi alpini incontaminati. Si possono osservare camosci, stambecchi, marmotte oltre che diverse specie di uccelli. In particolare durante la nostra visita abbiamo avvistato le simpatiche marmotte, che dominano l'intero colle.

Ammirando il panorama e godendoci l'aria frizzantina a più di 2600 metri di altezza abbiamo fantasticato su come potesse apparire questo posto al tramonto o alla sera (purtroppo il nostro viaggio nel pomeriggio ci avrebbe portato altrove), dato che la sua conformazione e le poche tracce dell'uomo le donano un qualcosa di selvaggio e addirittura primordiale. Infatti poco dopo abbiamo scoperto che è uno dei luoghi più bui d'Italia, almeno tra quelli accessibili tramite strada asfaltata, perché gode di schermature da parte delle montagne verso la pianura e le grandi città, ed è quindi relativamente immune dall'inquinamento luminoso.

Ideale quindi per osservare le stelle e il cielo in notturna grazie anche alla sua altitudine che riduce le interferenze dell'atmosfera terrestre.

Insomma, un luogo magnifico.. un paradiso appunto!

Ci torneremo sicuramente, fermandoci anche per la notte grazie alla presenza di un grande rifugio con bar.. non vediamo l'ora di ammirare un cielo pazzesco.

@iamcristinacortinovis by #bikers_brasil La salita più lunga da quando pedalo (da 29anni😲), il Colle del Nivolet, davvero un Gran Paradiso! Partendo da Cuorgnè, dal ponte dell'Orco 55,7km di ascesa, una tra le più lunghe ed elevate (2612m) d'Europa. Conquistare con le proprie gambe un paesaggio così, a strettissimo contatto con l'ambiente, non ha davvero prezzo. Ho faticato e non poco, ma so già che al mio risveglio, rimarranno in me, solo le emozioni di cotanta bellezza. Celebrazione alla vita! ⁣ Canon EOS 250D | 18mm | 1/100s | f/18 | ISO 100⁣ Taken on 26/07/2020.⁣ ⁣ Colle del Nivolet is a mountain pass in the Eastern group of the Graian Alps in Northern Italy. It is located at the top of the Orco Valley on the road from Turin to Ceresole Reale in the Gran Paradiso National Park and forms part of the boundary between the regions of Piedmont and Aosta Valley.⁣ ⁣ At 2,641 metres above sea level admiring the stunning view of the two artificial lakes, Lago Serrù and Lago Agnel, I felt I was on cloud nine (pardon the pun!). And who wouldn't be?⁣ ⁣ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:⁣ ⁣ There are buses leaving from Ivrea and Rivarolo Canavese to Colle di Nivolet only in July and August as, at this height, you'd otherwise expect snow and ice on the roads. And don't get me started on all the hairpin turns!⁣ ⁣ Not only that, but the bus company GTT only runs this service on Sundays and festive holidays because there's a limit as to how many vehicles can access the National Park as some stretches of road are extremely difficult to navigate.
