#grapeleaf skeletonizer moth

Found this little guy at work today. It's a grapelead skeletonizer moth! They only live a few days and feed on flower nectar, so this was a lucky find. :)

Some very nice friends! Yes, the first dude is a jumping spider, although it’s too small to tell which species. The moth, as far as I can tell from those photos, is a grapeleaf skeletonizer. The caterpillar is of course a tussock in Orgyia, and you’re right about the parson spider! Thank you for sharing them all, I love them :))

Some children!! Excellent outfit on the first one, which is a grapeleaf skeletonizer moth caterpillar. Adults look like this:

Looooooooooove that log cabin house! It’s an Abbot’s bagworm moth cocoon. Adult males look like this:

Females, like in the case of many bagworms, are wingless and stay inside their case for life. :)
