I really miss the early 2000s graphic cards box aesthetics because it felt like you were getting an amazing new 3D world every time 🧡
And sometimes, when you couldn’t decide the card to buy, you made the choice based on the box that looked cooler. Been there, done that (and I absolutely don’t regret it!).

Change your graphic card in graphic settings
Just a heads up for laptop users with nvidia and dual graphpic cards: You can now no longer change which card an application uses in nvidia settings. I noticed I had been playing Sims 2 with my internal (intel) card for a while, except with my better nvidia card.
You have to change it in settings -> graphic settings (just type gaphic settings in your search bar). Sorry for german pictures, I hope it's still clear:
Choose desktop-app, navigate to the folder you saved the .exe in, then click "options"
And choose high performance. Save and that's it.
