Once/if the need of "space" end, does Godzilla calls for Ghidorah to cuddle or he's so tsundere for it?
Bro felt bad so he just calls them...
And they can cuddle him as long as they want, tho Goji misses the times he'd be alone lol...

In my opinion, the worst thing the Wingard duology has done, has to be the mischaracterization of Godzilla. That's it. Not Kong's spotlight(which also played a part methink), nor the villains(wasted or not), the setting or the tone; nothing else annoyed me as much/hj
Had huge fights over this w my ex-mutual over this, it's insane.
Mf made Ghidorah look like a saint in comparison.
Like how can you forget how your own character work?? HOW COULD THE AUDIENCE FORGET IT, LIKE WE WATCHED THE SAME GUY FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS?
I have a plethora of issues with the Wingard films, but I think a lot of them boil down to the fact that the guy is an objectively bad writer. I spent like 15 minutes looking for the interview screenshot where he says he only wanted Godzilla to blow shit up and something about how Godzilla’s a flexible character, which i’ll give him that, Godzilla is flexible, but Monsterverse Godzilla is established as heroic. The guy fucked up Death Note, there’s a scene in his movie where (i’m blanking on their names I haven’t been awake for long) character A accuses character B of having the journal and character A, who is established as intelligent in the source material, freaks the hell out.. The point i’m trying to make is this guy can’t write intelligent characters, he can’t write funny ones in GVK, and i’m a writer myself (albeit not a professional one, but I know this tool that I learned from the South Park writers) when you’re outlining, you shouldn’t get from point A to point B to point C and so on using ‘and then’ I can summarize the entire plot of GVK and GXK.. Here’s an example: “Kong hurt his tooth, and then a fan favorite is introduced to hand him his BEAST glove.” or “Godzilla kills two Titans and then he involves.” whereas in KOTM, I could say: “Because Emma was grieving with the wrong people in her ears, she unleashed Ghidorah, kicking off the conflict.”
Onto Godzilla’s characterization, i’m in a discord server where we’re pretty much all in agreement, so I don’t get into those arguments, but I do lurk on fan spaces like r/monsterverse (idiot central) and even unwillingly get some slideshows on my TikTok FYP that always starts with: “Adam didn’t ruin Godzilla’s character! You just don’t have media literacy!” don’t get me started on how much I hate how the word ‘media literacy’ has become a buzzword when people in fandom discourse want to be right, also it’s so painfully wrong in this context. Godzilla’s character hasn’t developed an inch since KOTM and if anything, he’s regressed, he doesn’t trust humans, he’s a moron who attacks first instead of assessing why/when he should, and don’t forget how he’s supposed to be a guardian of nature in KOTM, but it falls flat when he drills a hole into then earth in one movie and then destroys a bridge with people on it in the next.
I hate the argument that Godzilla is flexible as a character, while he is, MV Godzilla was already established, and as someone who writes fanfiction, stripping a character of their core traits (in Godzilla’s case, an allegory for nature) is dumb as shit. If that was my OC or just a character I really liked and spent a lot of time on that someone picked up and began mischaracterizing, i’d be upset because those are my babies, though I doubt Dougherty is shedding any tears because he’s still rich.
Also, the blog will stay up in case of doddle request or something?
Hmm could be a good idea!
I won't post my art here but maybe doodle requests and new post updates may remain in this blog...
Doodle request?
Ok let's go
I want to see the baby!!!
Minilla, little angel doomed by the narrative/j
Baby doomed (somewhat) by the narrative
Ispired by your posts, my mind had to shitpost.
I hope you don't mind/gen
Anyway always nice see another ghidzilla shipper on the hellsite 🥳🥳
I didn’t know I’d inspire someone from my goofy shitposts and some animations, but glad to be a ghidshiper on board 🥹
Forget Kong and Pensacola, Godzilla that brute attacked and offed a single mother!!!
How could he???
Also, I want to share it with you my crack headcanon that Tiamat is Ghidorah's offspring. I mean she's able to manipulate the water and create storms.
And it makes the beef in between she and Godzilla even better. Plus Ghidorah still lives!!! (somehow I mean 1/4 of him)
I WILL DESTROY GOJI. I WILL FIGHT HIM AND I WILL WIN
OOOOO THAT’S COOL TBH!!! Tell me more 👁️👁️
Hi, congratulations to the couple!!!
But little Xiao, he's happy about it? Does he and San get along?
Well... let's say that this relationship is very up, down and up. This is because at first Xiao considered San as one of his uncles, the cool one, the gentle one, etc. The thing is that when he found out that San and his mom had a loving relationship, everything fell apart.
Xiao began to act very aggressive with San at the beginning, because he felt that his mother was being "robbed" lol
But don't worry, after a few months he got used to it and started calling him dad... But he still has a bit of aggression lol👺‼️
I admit that I've played like two mario games in my entire life so I may have lots of gaps in Mario lore, but as soon I see father-son duo dynamic where the former has to undergo a trip(physical and emotional) to re-establish their bond I EAT THAT SHIT!!!!
So first thing first: One, no TWO big thumbs up
Second: Junior is an absolute cutie in your style, I want to wrap him in a bundle and rock him to sleep( he'd probably chomp my hand off but worthy)
As I said I know jackshit on Mario but like could be possibly for Bowser to connect the dots and think the Mario bros kidnapped Jr in retort??
Marching in all blaze glory up to his enemies, demanding to have his son back, only to be meet by very puzzled and surprised plumbers??
Mario Lore doesn't go super deep (Though the lore in the Mario & Luigi RPG games and even some Paper Mario titles goes hard). But the stuff we do see between Junior and Bowser in the games is incredibly good and cute. Bowser loves his boy so much. He's doing his best to be a good Dad.
Also thank you!! Drawing Junior is very fun. he is a little (feral) squishy man :>
I definitely need to dedicate some time to practicing the other characters and figuring out how to translate them into my style. I definitely have more ideas I wanna draw that involve Mario, Luigi, and maybe someone else. ;)
As for Bowser thinking the Brothers kidnapping Junior... Idk if Bowser's mind would conjure that possibility, mainly because he views the Mario Brothers as a couple of "goody-two-shoes" and kidnapping just doesn't seem up their alley.
HE DOES however march up into the Mushroom Kingdom in a sleep-deprived frenzy trying to find his son. After scouring everywhere in the Koopa Kingdom, the next place Bowser thought to look was the Mushroom Kingdom and... Well he and his minions caused a ruckus that's for sure! Practically stormed Peach's Castle like
They manage to get Bowser calmed down enough to explain what the HELL is going on. The brothers and Peach offer to help without hesitation. They might have mixed feelings about Bowser, but troublemaker or not, Junior is still just a kid. (Plus it would probably be safer for ALL the neighboring Kingdoms if they get this situation under control as SOON as possible. A stressed Koopa King - it turns out - is a very destructive one.)
