Shut up. Shut the fuck up. Friendship is not 'less than'. Romance is not the super special grandiose upgrade to friendship that you think it is. Humans and their feelings are so much messier and more complex that they could ever fit into such a reductive dichotomy. We're not "just" friends, we're Friends period. I would go through hell for them and with them. I would die for them. They have my back and I have theirs. I trust them with my whole heart and they trust me with theirs. I kiss them, I cuddle them, I rest my head upon their lap. Maybe y'all just need better friends.
Some people out here really think that even hugging or sharing one (1) kind look is some kind of exclusive romantic gesture. I pity them.
