One evening, you tell Stan that you don’t drink, prompting him to ask why you have a vintage bottle of whiskey sitting on one of the shelves in your kitchen.
After making sure what day of the week it is, you take the aforementioned bottle, along with one shot glass, and usher him to follow you out your back door.
Stan watches as you place the glass at the top step of your porch, pouring an appropriate amount of alcohol into each one, before you seal the bottle back up and walk back inside, where the two of you sit by the window.
Within minutes, a single jackalope emerges from the forest and hops on over and drinks from the glass you left out.
[for more context; it’s said that if you leave out a glass of whiskey for jackalopes every Friday, they will see this as peace offerings and refrain from stirring up trouble for you]

About headcanons of ford(post portal)with a s/o who is a single mother that moved over to gravity falls? The s/o had a very abusive ex and after the divorce they leave with their child to start again in Oregon, they probably meet due the kid being friends with dipper(this Lil dude needs more friends).

Ford is likely to notice but not interact with anyone new in town, that is Stan’s role.
Meaning you and your kid meet Stan, Dipper and Mabel as they’re the first people to properly greet you. (They were unable to drag Ford along.)
At the start you weren’t completely sure about the town, but it was so cheap that you couldn’t turn down.
Quickly your kid and Dipper became friends, so at this point you felt like you couldn’t leave. (Not that you really wanted to.)
This leads to your kid telling you everything while Dipper does the same to Ford, which catches his attention.
And the kids aren’t stupid, (Yours is debatable, but Dipper isn’t.) so they manage to get you two to talk, and luckily you two connect almost instantly.
If you don’t stop him he starts to subconsciously move some of his things into your place. (This proves how much he comes over and time spent. )
Or it might be the other way around, which he won’t stop. (He might if your kid manages to get hurt on something, especially if it keeps happening.)
All three kids are shipping you two at this point. (Mostly Mabel and your kid but Dipper can’t really deny it.)
Never brings up your ex unless you do it first, but you know you can trust him to never talk about it to anyone else.
Likely makes something that can somehow stop the ex from ever entering Gravity Falls.
