不會失敗，也沒有所謂失敗，我們總是從中學到很多。設計思考是一個不斷反覆驗證、反覆學習的流程，在實際的測試中修正想法。我們不斷給客戶看我們一步一步的嘗試，其實到專案結束後，客戶並不會太驚訝，因為客戶完全可以看到整個發展的過程。

舉例來說，Gravitytank 曾做一個「計程車後座購物」的專案，有兩個方法可以測試這個點子是否真的有用。一個是問卷，「你會想要在計程車後座購物嗎？」，有37%的人表示願意購買；另外是實際測試，用簡單的平板電腦模擬運作的情形（可能只是用圖片演出來），發現只有8%的人實際購物。

藉由實際測試，我們可以很快看出點子是否真的好，也可以很快從中學到使用者的行為，快速失敗，快速學習，用來修正想法。

我們不喜歡大失敗，但我們喜歡小失敗。
