Gray Shelter/Gray Currents Ep 4

(no serious spoilers because you should just be watching this show, trust me)

This show's writing, acting and direction continue to be excellent.

After Ep. 3 ended on a different view of Yoondae's attitude towards Soohyuk, the tone shifted briefly to some mild comedy while Yoondae collects on some debts. But the parents can't leave their offspring alone and the pressure—on Yoondae, especially—builds. And builds.

This is an interesting way of saying "I'm gonna be mad when I find out what you did, aren't I?"

Separately, Soohyuk's boss has observed that Soohyuk's seemingly endless supply of emotional compartmentalization is cracking.

A collision is ahead.

Gray Shelter/Gray Currents Ep 3

This show continues to have more impact in a 20 minute episode than most series manage their entire run. It respects its audience.

This is a bitter thing to say.

Also, the last line of the episode…

Ep 4 is available but I need some time to process this first before continuing.

Gray Currents: it's good. Really good.

Gray Currents is kinda blowing me away so far. No idea how it will go, but the acting, writing and directing are great so far. Everyone in this is messed up in some way.

Not gonna spoil anything. So far, anyway, can recommend.
