How I started shipping GrayZa.
I started watching FT not long ago. The first time Erza appeared I said: "Wow, she's awesome! Gray's awesome, they're close like Natsu and Lucy, they look great together, so... Heck yea! OTP. Period!" So I posted my FT OTP on my ShikaTema facebook page (My Naruto OTP). When I did that people started to freak out: "Oh, you're so wrong!!! Gray is for Juvia and Erza is for Jellal! They are already canon! How can you ship GrayZa?!" And as I've only watched just a few episodes at that time, I believed them.
I still shipped GrayZa, but with the doubt that it's not possible for them to become canon. As I've been watching FT I saw how their relationship developed and I've also met Juvia and Jellal and to be honest, I tried to ship Gruvia and Jerza, since everyone else did, but I simply couldn't. I realised they weren't canon as people said and there's not as much chemistry, at least not in Gruvia... Yea, I know Juvia is crazy about Gray, but he certainly doesn't seem to be interested in her at all. As for Jerza... I don't think it's gonna happen, even though Erza still loves Jellal because they are too different and Jellal doesn't wanna hurt her anymore, so he (I think) prefers to see her happy with someone else.
So, yea... I won't stop loving this couple even if Gruvia and Jerza do become canon! (which I think it's unlikely. In my opinion GrayZa has more chances).
