“Laxuuuuusssss”, I whined, dragging the “u” and “s”. “Not right now babe I’m”, he said gently removing me from his arm. “You’re not busy, you’re just…talking to Freed”. “Yeah about work”. I sighed heavily as and idea popped in my head. I smirked and went over to where Team Natsu was. Gray and Natsu were sitting on one side, while Erza, Lucy and Wendy were sitting on the other side, Happy and Carla on the tables. (Let’s just consider Wendy a part of Team Natsu) I was a part of Team Natsu so it wasn’t weird that I went over to them. “Natsu there’s something on your vest”, I said, pushing the left side of his vest to the side and pulling it upward to show him. “Oh yeah, wait I’ll go wash it off”, he said and went to the bathroom. I sat where he sat but scooted towards Gray so he would still have his seat. Natsu came back completely shirtless, “What happened”, “Well my vest was wet so I thought my fire would help dry it, turns out it turned to ash. “HAH DUMBASS”, Gray said. “LOOKING FOR A FIGHT ICE PRINCESS”, “Do you both want to get a beating from me”, Erza said, causing them both to sit down. So here I was, sitting between two shirtless men. There little argument kept going on making everyone in the guild look at us. I saw Laxus frown when he saw me sitting between them. I decided to braid Gray’s hair, I always do that and he liked it so it was a win-win. “Feels so good”, Gray says, I smirked. I felt Laxus stare at me, after I was done I sighed getting up from my seat and walking towards the bar, where Laxus and the Thunder Legion were sitting. “Just a soda Mira”, I said to Mirajane.

She nodded and went inside the kitchen to get it. I completely ignored Laxus but I stood in a way that my ass was facing him. I decided to take things up a notch and went and sat down on his lap, I felt his boner, I kept on shifting to get “comfortable”. Laxus’ hands went around my waist as he held me down so I don’t move. I smirked and got up, Laxus looking at me confused, and sat down beside and Bickslow and Freed, getting a bit too close to Bickslow. “Y/N your drink”, Mira said, passing my drink to Laxus so he can pass it on to me. I glared at Ever trying to tell her about my situation, when she got it, she smirked and said “Well I think we should do the rest tomorrow”, “Yeah I’m tired”, said Bickslow. “Tomorrow it is” They all got up, Bickslow and Freed heading home while Ever goes and sits with Elfman. Laxus stayed there, “I know what you’re doing Y/N”, “yeah so”, “stop doing it”, “make me”. He got up from his seat, walked over to me and whispered “You’re such a brat, I’m gonna have to teach you a lesson”, with that he grabbed my waist and dragged my upstairs to the S-class floor, pinning me against the wall.

He roughly kissed me and moved down to my neck, leaving hickeys all over it, he found my sweet spot and kept abusing it while I let out moans. “Make another noise and you won’t be able to walk for the next entire month”, I let out a small whimper but obeyed him, trying to stop my moans. I love Fairy Tail with my whole heart but I’m so tired of 1. The underlying romantic themes and 2. The pittance of gay characters on the show

So first off, I think all the couples are cute of course I do. But the way the fandom sexualizes NaLu really grinds my gears because almost 99% of all the romantic interactions between them are just that. Romantic. Whenever he grabs her boobs it doesn’t seem sexual at all it’s more of a prebuscent kind of humor. I think being raised first by a dragon and then a guild may have shifted Natsu away from sexual inclinations because of the fact that there weren’t any major couples in his life. So I ship NaLu wholeheartedly I just think it should be more of a fluff romance instead of a socially conforming romantic AND sexual romance.

And I’m so tired of people screaming over Miraxus simply because they’re both hot and powerful.

I’m just so frustrated that romance has to be inserted into every single piece of film, cinema, Literature etc. the point of fairy tail is that they’re supposed to be a family. I totally understand some coupling but the way almost every main character is now paired off with someone is really upsetting to me because I always viewed it as a show that involved friendship, dedication, and loyalty. Throwing romance into it is just another way to gain viewership.

Ok part II. The gay representation in this show is shit. Every single aspect of it is for pure comic relief. Master Bob is wise but ugly af and his portrayal can be really demeaning towards drag queens. Those bandits during a single episode that checked out Gray and ignored Lucy, Erza, and Imitatia were just for comedic surprise. And Freed, while an excellent character, has obsessive issues over Laxus (which I totally understand he’s like the hottest character). As a gay person myself I’m so frustrated that it is 2019 and I STILL don’t see enough of what I as a romantic individual identify with. So many people say “not everything has to be gay” and I’m literally not asking for everything. I’m asking for something. ANYTHING. It’s extremely irritating and invalidating when people say this kinda shit because of the simple fact that they are completely ignorant over the issue that they have never had to deal with. The homophobic weaboo incels that fuel the ever-growing anime titty movement may disagree but I don’t give a fuck.

And I’m tired of Yaoi being the primary excuse because almost every fluff yaoi I’ve seen ONLY focuses on the gay aspect. It’s not this big community where gay people are just a small part. At this point I’m not asking for Fraxus (even though it’s ideal but I know won’t happen). I just want SOMEONE for Freed. Is it hypocritical to talk about how there needs to be less romance but also want romance for Freed? In a way. But I’m only focused on the main characters when it comes to romance. In the end it’s just so invalidating not only for gay people like me but for aromantic and asexual people to lose the characters they so closely associated with to this societal ideal.

You groaned grabbing at your side, trying your best not to pass out at the pain coursing through your body. You were so close, but you were sure most of your broken bones were damaging a lot of you on the inside.

“You need to keep moving, come on, if you stop your dead, pass out and your dead” You kept repeating this to yourself every time the pain got too much, but you had to fight through it all. Soon you’d be in Magnolia and you’d be safe there, at least that’s what you hoped, they wouldn’t let you be taken away. You tried to laugh but it hurt too much, they would never try going near Magnolia in fear of Fairy Tail. You screamed collapsing to your knees as your sight started wavering.

“No goddamit, so close, so close” You said trying to use all your strength to stand up again, but you just fell down again. You were breathing heavily as tears started streaming down you face, this was as far as you could go. It was over, you heard a noise coming from behind you and screwed you eyes shut knowing now it was all over.

“Are you ok?” An unknown voice asked from behind

“Who are you?” You asked pulling your cloak round yourself as your only protection

“I’m Laxus, and you would be?” The voice inquired not seeming threatening just curious

“My names (y/n)” You said as your vision blurred “Laxus I don’t suppose you’re here to kill me, are you?”

“Why would I be (y/n)?” He asked sounding amused

“Because I’m about to pass out and I’d rather die than go back there” You said clenching your eyes shut as you tried to steady your breathing hoping you were now safe

“Go back where (y/n)?” Laxus asked confused

“I’m trying to get to Magnolia, preferably Fairy Tail, can you get me there?” You asked not caring for the questions you wouldn’t be awake much longer and you needed to know if you passed out now maybe this stranger could get you to safety or get you help

“Maybe I can, why?” He asked seriously, might have heard even a bit of anger

“Good” You said smiling as your body became light and all the pain had disappeared.

 “Hey” Laxus shouted at he walked towards the girl who had identified herself as (y/n), he grabbed on your shoulder turning you round to lie on your back and saw what you were escaping from

“Oh shit” He said feeling anger build up as he looked at your small frail body covered in bruises and saw the dislocated shoulder and the twisted ankle “Now I know why you were running”

He scooped you up into his arms, carrying you carefully as if you were delicate china and carried you over a hill which brought you out at Magnolia. You had been so close, but at least close enough to have found help you just didn’t know it had come in the form of the lightning dragon slayer. He walked through Magnolia with you wrapped in the cloak, everyone stopped to look at him carrying you unsure of which member of Fairy Tail had been hurt this time, only you weren’t Fairy Tail you were a worst guild. Laxus kicked open the guild doors, everyone turned to stare at him as he walked through the main hall.

“Where’s the old man?” Laxus asked ignoring everyone who asked about who you had

“What happened?” Makarov asked

“Not here” Laxus stated shaking his head knowing nobody else in the guild needed to see you in this vulnerable state

“Ok, there’s some spare rooms in the back, take her through there” Mira Jane said gently, something in Laxus’s eyes made no one ask anymore questions

Laxus walked through with Makarov at his back as he opened one of the rooms and deposited you on a bed more gently than anyone would think he’d have. He carefully removed the cloak to see the true extent of your injuries and so Makarov could correctly help you.

“Who did this?” Makarov said with rage

“I don’t know, her name’s (y/n), I found her on the road back into Magnolia she was trying to get here, she thought I was there to kill her” Laxus growled out as he saw how bad you really looked without the cloak, he was surprised you’d made it so far with all that damage

“She’s a wizard from Ghoul Spirit” Makarov said as he found the tattoo on you shoulder

“Dark guild” Laxus said “So are we turning her over to the council?”

“No” Makarov said shaking his head “Not in this state, she wanted to get here for a reason, she almost died to get here”

“Anything we can do to help her?” Laxus asked looking at your tiny frame all broken and beaten making his fists clench wanting to kill who done this to you

“Just wait for her to wake up, who knows how long that will be” Makarov said looking at Laxus with a sad smile at how he couldn’t take his eyes off you “She walked far in that state she’s stronger than she looks, should be no time” Makarov looked at the sad state you were in and knew what had upset Laxus to feel protective over you “Try get her to drink some water, she has nothing on her who knows when she last ate or drank anything” With that Makarov left you to watch over her.

Laxus carefully got you out your dirty clothes, running his hand over your bruised stomach from the broken ribs before covering you up with a duvet. Laxus lay down on the bed opposite watching over you till you woke up, praying you did so he could kill them.

 You groaned opening your eyes to darkness, you heard heavy breathing from somewhere else in the room. You turned to where the noise was coming from, but it was too dark, you brought your right hand up and hit your ring for light. You saw a guy lying in a bed across the room, he had golden hair and a lightning scar down his face, from the outlines on the covers showed he was quite tall and big. You looked about for your clothes to get out before anything happened, you tried to push yourself to sit up but the pain that had been subdued for so long hit you causing you to scream in agony. You lay back down twisting your fingers in the bed sheets, clenching your eyes shut trying to calm your breathing to stop the pain.

“You shouldn’t have tried to move, you’re not moving from that bed for a good while” The voice said, your breath caught as you recognised it

“Laxus? Here I was thinking I dreamed it up” (y/n) said trying to laugh flinching at the pain “How long have I been here?”

“You’re not the first girl to dream about me” He said with a smile as he came to sit in the seat by your bed, something told you he’d sat there a lot while you had been here “You’ve been here a week, was getting worried you’d never wake up”

“A week?” You asked shocked “Where am I?”

“Fairy Tail of course, you asked to be brought here” Laxus said raising an eyebrow, you lowered you gaze to his bare chest and saw the Fairy Tail insignia with some tribal design around it

“You were Fairy Tail, could have told me” (y/n) said smiling feeling safe for the first time in ages

“Didn’t know who you were” He said stroking a blonde hair away from your face “Who are you?”

“(y/n), I’ve told you” You said looking at him

“You were a part of a dark guild, why did you come here?” He asked as you saw the anger cross his face and flinched away from him before his face changed to sadness “Don’t be scared, no one will hurt you here, was it Ghoul Spirit that hurt you?”

“I know the dark guilds want to bring Fairy Tail down, I didn’t want to be apart of it, I tried to leave but no one leaves” You choked out feeling the fear come back up with the memories of how betrayed you were

“How did you escape?” He asked

“I used what little magic I had left after everything to knock them out, I ran so far as fast as I could its what happened to my ankle that was my own clumsy self” You said shaking your head feeling tears

“No one will hurt you here, you are safe” Laxus said gripping your hand

“Nowhere is safe, people hurt the ones they love” (y/n) said

“You knew they’d hurt you, didn’t you?” He asked confused

“Yes, I wanted to escape I told my boyfriend the plan” You said with a snort shaking your head “He was too faithful to the cause though to bring down the guilds”

“He told on you?” Laxus asked clenching his fists lowering his face so you never saw the rage that was coursing through him

“Yeah, to the master and I was beaten till I changed my mind on the plan on ever running away but I never changed my mind, I have no idea how long it went on for the abuse, I remember him coming down pleading with me just to join again every day he would” You said shaking you head hatred coursing through your body at him “I beat him up a lot while everyone was knocked out”

“(y/n) I promise you, on my life no harm is ever coming to you again” Laxus said as you turned and stared into his grey eyes and saw he meant what he said. You could see it all over his face in various emotions the anger, the sadness, and the protectiveness.

“Does anyone know I’m here?” You asked curiously

“People know someone’s here, but they don’t know who, only a select few have came through that door” He said “They won’t come here looking for you, they’d never risk it”

“I hope you’re right” You said as you stared at the ceiling remembering your room in Ghoul Spirit

The door cracked open making you and Laxus freeze.

“Mira Jane reported to me that a scream came from here” An old man walked in closing the door behind him

“She’s just woke up, I didn’t want her to be interrogated so soon” Laxus said glaring at the old man

“You’re the guild leader I’m assuming?” (y/n) asked “I’d sit up and shake hands with you but if I move, I will scream again”

“Don’t trouble yourself dear” He said as he stood beside Laxus “I’m Makarov the guild leader of Fairy Tail”

“Hello Makarov, I’m (y/n)” You said smiling at him, he seemed so nice compared to your guild leader “I’ve been talking to Laxus about everything, but I’d be happy to answer any questions you have”

“Why were you a part of the dark guild to start? You seem too nice to be there” Makarov said making you smile

“I was a wizard without a guild for a long time, I travelled around looking for one that fit me, but none did” You said smiling remembering how it began “Then I met another wizard we started dating and he was part of a guild so I joined so we could be together”

“He pulled you in then hurt you” Laxus said making you flinch but you nodded all the same

“Yes, after a while I realised what was happening, he was pulling away, I soon realised it was something they did to get members” You said shrugging your shoulders feeling tears come to your eyes for how stupid you had been to fall in love with him

“I’m sorry for everything you have gone through” Makarov said nodding his head “I’ll get some food brought to you, you must be very hungry, idiot Laxus must have forgot his basic manners before questioning you”

“Hey! I had to make sure she wasn’t dangerous” Laxus said shrugging as Makarov laughed walking out knowing he wasn’t as stupid as his grandson thought of him

“How long before I can move?” You asked Laxus

“Shouldn’t be much longer, most of the swelling has gone down, let’s focus on when it doesn’t hurt to sit up” He said watching you as you nodded before you remembered something

“Who took my clothes off?” You asked looking at him questioningly as his face went red

“I had to assess the damage” He mumbled not meeting your eyes, trying to forget what you looked like lying there in your underwear as he constantly was checking the damage on your body to make sure none of it had gotten worse

“You’ve seen me naked?” You said shocked as a girl with long silver hair walked in with a tray and placed it on the table at the door before nodding to you and walking out

“Not in a creepy way, I needed to know where was damaged and assess it healing” He said defensively “Now come on we’re going to try feed you”

He got up and lifted pillows from his bed and placed them at your head, before he put an arm round your shoulders helping you sit up and you groaned at the pain in your chest from your ribs and from lying in a bed for a week hadn’t helped either. Soon enough you were leaning against the wall with all the pillows at your back for support, you kept pulling the cover up not wanting him to see you in such a pitiful state anymore. You kept telling yourself it was because he saved you that you felt something for him, but whatever it was that made you feel the need not to look weak in front of the Golden-haired guy anymore. Laxus carried the tray over to you before placing it on your lap. It looked so nice it was soup, and the smell coming from it made your stomach growl. You couldn’t remember the last time you really ate, in lockdown at Ghoul Spirit meant you got nothing.

“Thank you” You said looking at him “I must have really been a bother on you and the guild for the past week, maybe another week and I can be out”

“Don’t push yourself, no one wants you to go till you’re ready especially if they come for you again” Laxus said smiling at you making your heart jump

“I’m fine honestly if you want to leave this dark room for a bit, I’m sure you have better stuff to do” You said and saw the hurt cross his face but clenched your fists not to say anything more

“Yeah, course” He said laughing covering the hurt, scared to leave the angel herself, He stood up and you soon realised he was just wearing boxers as you turned your face away bright red with embarrassment. He soon got ready before leaving you as you never looked up making him angry for everything he’d done just to get kicked out “You better eat all that”

“I will” You said with a smile as you swirled the spoon in the soup before bringing a spoonful of it up to your lips and smiling at the feeling of it going into your empty stomach as you sat in the dark room all alone and remembered everything that had happened up till this point.

 Laxus sat up in the S Class part of the guild, it had been a week since you had kicked him out of the room and he’d faithfully stayed away but his mood had gotten angrier as the days passed of not seeing you. He got reports off Mira Jane and Makarov every time they had gone in, he’d questioned them loads of time about how you were doing. He sat in the guild hall waiting for you to ask for him to come back but you hadn’t, he refused to take any jobs till he knew you were strong enough to look after yourself. At least that’s what he kept telling himself he knew if anyone came through those doors to try and get to you that Fairy Tail would protect you whether you were part of the guild or not.

The guild doors started shaking as if someone was knocking on them, everyone went silent and looked towards them waiting to see who came through this time. As the doors flew open and in walked a team of wizards, Laxus knew instantly why they had dared to come here and smiled as he finally could hurt the ones who hurt you.

“Who do you think you are barging in here?” Erza said walking up to them while she equipped a weapon

“We don’t want to fight, one of our guild members has gone missing and we believe she is here” A guy with black hair said stepping forward towards Erza “Her name’s (y/n), she’s my girlfriend”

“I’m sorry but I think that’s ex now” Laxus said smirking as he walked down from the S class section towards the group

“You have her then?” Another guy asked with a dark smile “She’s part of our guild, you need to return her to us”

“Why? So, you can kill her this time?” He said as rage covered his face and everyone else in the guild started surrounding the group not to let them through

“Is that what she told you? That we done it?” Your ex boyfriend said laughing “She likes to make up stories like that, she was on a job and it must have happened there we were coming looking for her because she’s been missing so long”

 “Get out” Your voice was low, but the anger and ferocity were there and written all over you face, some of the Fairy Tail members moved out the way to allow you access to the front of the group

“(y/n) go back to bed” Laxus said looking at you standing there beside him in one of his tops that he knew Makarov had probably given you to wear just round that room

“No” You said looking at him and saw the rage all over his face for what these group of individuals had done to you “This was my team from Ghoul Spirit, help each other to the end of time and stand up for the other, what happened to that motto eh?”

“(y/n) you wanted to leave, I couldn’t let you do it” Michael said as he took a step towards you “I love you and cared for you, what if you died because you left”

“I nearly died in that cell because of you” You snarled at him

“But you didn’t because you’re stronger than that, now just come home” Michael said as he too another step towards you before Loke stepped in front of you

“I think you’ve come close, enough don’t you?” He said blocking you from there view “She doesn’t want to come with you, maybe you should all leave it at that”

“She comes with us or we don’t leave without her” Sara said she had red hair and had always hated you for dating Michael

“Sara, you don’t need to hate me anymore” You said looking at her confused, without you there she could date Michael. Then groaned in pain as something came to you, a memory from when you were locked up, the red-haired guy grabbed you as you doubled over holding your head before you stood up angry “You came to visit me in the cells”

“You remember?” She said smirking as everyone else in the team looked worried “You always were the only one who could break my mind erasing”

“I’m stronger than I look” You said looking round at them all as they slowly realise their mistake

“Why would you help her? She could just be here to spy on you” Michael said looking round at everyone trying to use his persuasion magic on everyone “She is part of a dark guild after all”

You felt some people’s eyes turn to you as his magic took effect and looked to Laxus who hadn’t taken his eyes off the group. You knew the only way to get them out was fight them because for some reason you just knew Laxus was never going to let you walk out voluntarily.

“He’s using magic to try and persuade us all to turn on her” Lucy said smiling at Michael who turned and growled her way knowing that she’d broke the effect any of it had

“Leave everyone alone” You shouted not wanting harm to come to anyone here, a hand rested on your shoulder you looked up and saw Laxus looking down at you, he’d figured out the same as you they were never going to leave voluntarily.

“She’s already said she’s not going, so leave already unless you have something else to say?” Gray said

“Just this” Kara who was Sara’s twin sister as she smiled at you a cold sickening smile as she shot out a magic circle, but you had seen it coming and shot out your own magic circle enclosing your old guild in a ball of air, you were able to use air magic

“Always was the only move you used Kara” You said feeling yourself turn dark as you walked towards them with your eyes cold “So much I could do to you within this ball, I could suck out all the air, or the ball could shrink I wander what would happen if I done that?”

“You’re evil (y/n), you can’t turn your back on that” Sara said laughing but you smiled at that

“Maybe I am but I won’t be anymore” You said as you hit the ball with magic sending them all flying outside, you followed with Fairy Tail as they all stood there defensively

“Now not very fair going against a whole guild with just us 5” Sara said pouting

“How about we make it fair though?” Michael suggested

You looked round as you started to step forward but the same hand from earlier landed on you shoulder stopping you

“You’re not going up there, you are not healed” Laxus growled at you, worried about what would happen if you got hurt

“Oh, come on lover boy, did I forget that another condition is that she’s one of the 5” Michael said with a smile “Let’s show your new guild how evil you can go (y/n)”

“Laxus she’ll be ok, we’ll cover for her” Erza said as her, Natsu and Gray walked forward

Laxus squeezed your shoulder before realising it and you both walked forward to join the group

Erza took on Skye with his wind Magic, Natsu took on Kara with her chain magic, Gray took on Shadow with his eye magic, not surprised that Laxus took on Michael with his Water magic and you took on Sara with her mind control.

“Sara you can’t use anything against me” You said sending her a cold smile

“Is that what you think?” Cara said smiling as her eyes went red and everything started shifting around you, you tried to shut her out but Laxus was right you were too weak to fight especially Cara. You opened your eyes and saw what Cara wanted you to see it was her and Laxus making out, you screamed but the two figures just turned and laughed at you. (y/n) stretched out her hand and shot the hallucination you knew it wasn’t were Cara was, but you needed the hallucination gone as you closed you eyes and focused on the noises to break through the mind control. When you opened your eyes again you saw Cara again, she was standing there smirking at your reaction.

“Only two weeks gone and already so weak” Cara said walking towards you

“I’m not weak and I never was” You screamed as your eyes went dark with storms as you blasted Cara into a wall. You walked towards her hands up ready to attack again when an arm wrapped round your waist stopping you.

You looked round to see the rest of Ghoul spirit run up to Cara, you knew Fairy Tail were stronger than them.

“(y/n), are you ok?” Laxus said as he moved his arm to rub up and down your back

“You were right, I was weak” You said feeling dizzy at the amount of magic power you had used up

“No, you aren’t” He said but you nodded

“Laxus” You whispered before your legs gave way as he lifted you up

“You know you just need to tell me you want me to hold you” Laxus whispered into your ear making you giggle, you lay your head on his chest listening to his heartbeat keeping your eyes closed not wanting to see anyone. Laxus lay you back down on the bed “How did you get my top?”

“I found some stuff in those drawers” You said as you turned onto your side and moved to the wall and patted the space beside you “Lie with me”

“I shouldn’t” Laxus said as he felt his face start to burn turning away from you

“Ok, sorry, just wanted to lie and talk to you” You said closing your eyes smiling “You never came back, I didn’t mean for you to be gone forever”

“I was waiting for you to ask me back in” He said as you felt the bed dip and opened your eyes to see Laxus lying beside you

“Did you stay in here the whole time I was unconscious?” You asked him as he stroked your hair nodding “Why though?”

“I don’t know, there was just something about you” Laxus said as you raised your hand to stroke his cheek “What did you see under the mind control?”

“You with Cara” You said as Laxus’s eyes shot to meet yours and you both saw the understanding the feelings you both felt for each other

Laxus leaned in and caught your lips with his, he was being gentle you realised so you leaned in to him deepening the kiss. Your hands travelled down his chest and up his top feeling along the hard-definitive lines of his abs, Laxus’s hand lowered down your back and strayed to your ass.

“You’re supposed to be taking it easy” Laxus growled out looking at you staring at him with your hand still running across his chest

“I’m stronger than I look” You said angry as you grabbed fistfuls of his top pulling you closer together as you smashed your lips onto his before pulling away “Plus we are just making out the now”

“So, is that all I’m getting?” Laxus said with a smirk making you laugh

“Just till I’m fully healed” You said smiling as cuddled up to him feeling sleepy

“You’ll be safe here (y/n), I promise my life on it” He whispered into your hair as he stroked it

“I know, I want to be part of fairy tail” You said drowsily

“We’ll sort that out when your better angel” Laxus said last thing you remember before falling asleep
