Dick + Liana

Otp: you taught me what a life is for

This comes from the title song Light me up. My thought process was that both of them have been living sort of half-lives up until the point they meet and then they finally realize how much of life they have been missing due to their own seclusion.

They teach each other to live

Otp: I just wanna be somebody to you

This one is more of an afterthought, but it comes from the song Someone to You by the Banners. It reminds me SO much of their relationship and gets to the core of their feelings for each other.

They wanna feel a part of something. But they wanna feel like that with the other person. Liana and Dick may not care about others’ opinions, but they do care about each other’s.

Scott and Ali

Otp: never fall in love with a dead man

This is actually ripped straight from season 6 when Peter tells Malia not to fall in love with Scott. That conversation happens but with Ali instead. It also shows up the prologue of RWW as the final line.

...told her to never fall in love with a dead man. Too late.

Otp: he sings for the love of a girl

This comes from Hadestown and it’s a line between Hades and Persephone as the latter is trying to convince him to give Orpheus a chance.

Hades and Persephone have the same dynamic as Ali and Scott (although the roles switch every now and then) so it was only natural I chose a song that explored that dynamic.

How did they meet?

Liana was stealing from a convenience store and when she ran out, she ducked into Wayne Enterprises, where she ran into a twelve year old Dick Grayson.

Who developed romantic feelings first?

When they were kids Liana did. As adults, Dick did.

Who is their biggest “shipper”?

Donna Troy and Rachel Roth!

When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances?

I’m still outlining, but it happens sometime in season one (probably toward the end) and it’s during a quiet moment to themselves as their reminiscing about the old days. Dick makes the first move.

Who confessed their feelings first?

Dick technically does, but none of them ever say the words “I have feelings for you”

What was their first official date?

Late night drinks at a bar after dealing with Trigon.

How do they feel about double dates/group dates?

Both of them are highly introverted so they’re not big fans of double dates and group dates. Dawn does rope them into the occasional game night though.

What do they do in their down time?

They play poker and other board games, talk to each other, and read.

What was the first meeting of the parents as an official couple like?

Bruce meets Liana in season 2 and it gets TENSE, but he’s actually really sweet toward her because he remembers how much Dick used to talk about her as a kid.

Briana meets Dick and basically takes him in as a surrogate son, treating him to a bed and dinner within minutes of meeting him.

What was their first fight and how did they get past it?

Their first fight happens early on when Liana finds out about Dick leaving Rachel with Dawn and Hank. She tears into him about closing himself off and eventually Dick realizes his mistake and apologizes. Liana also apologizes.

Which one is more easily made jealous?

Dick. 100%

What is their favorite thing to get to eat?

Thai food.

Who’s the cuddly one? What’s their favorite cuddling position?

Neither of them are big on touch, but when they do cuddle it’s mostly Liana laying on Dick’s chest while he runs his hands through her hair.

Are they hand holders?

Nope and don’t ask them about it.

How long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time? Under what circumstances?

Again, still plotting, but they wait a while. I’m thinking probably close to the end of season one or maybe moving it to season two. But I’m thinking Dick gets hurt and Liana is taking care of him and that’s when they sleep together.

Who tops?

They switch because they’re both versatile *winks*

That being said, Dick prefers it when Liana is in charge.

What’s the worst fight they’ve ever gotten into?

After Liana came back after leaving at the end of season one. Dick refused to forgive her and claimed she had abandoned them.

Who does the shopping and the cooking?

Dick does. Liana cannot be trusted by herself in the store or the kitchen.

Which one is more organized and prone to tidiness?

Neither of them. Maybe Dick because he doesn’t have as many possessions as Liana does.

Who proposes?

Dick does. It’s a huge move for both of them.

Do they have joined Bachelor/Bachelorette parties or separate?

Dawn and Donna insist on planning Liana’s party. So Separate.

Who is the best man/maid of honor? Any other groomsmen or bridesmaids?

Maid of Honor: Donna

Best Man: Also Donna.

Bridesmaids: Dawn and Kory.

Flower Girl: Rachel.

Big ceremony or Small?

Small. Just family and friends.

Do they have a honeymoon? If so, where?

Eventually they do. Bruce pays for it and they decide to travel around Europe to different places instead of staying in one place.

Do they have children? How many?

They eventually decide to adopt Rachel Roth. And they have all the Titans to take care of.
