Graydon’s “Putty” Super Smoothing Face Cream is intended to protect, nourish and soothe dry skin. But it’s so rich in natural butters, oils and extracts that it doubles as a moisturizing face mask for day or night. So while I dubbed it “The Mask Hack,” it really is the best “moisturizing mask” of the 6. I’ve just gotten to know Graydon in the last couple of weeks, so it may be new to you too. The Canadian-based natural skincare brand offers a complete range of clean, vegan “small-batch” products made without toxins and irritants — no fillers, petrochemicals, toxic chemicals, artificial fragrances or synthetic dyes. All-natural and water-free, Putty is packed with a blend of healing actives to reduce redness and irritation — including more serious skin issues like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and dermatitis. ARE YOU LOVING A SKINCARE PRODUCT RIGHT NOW THAT I SHOULD TRY? Share it in comments below… _______________________________________________________ Last week, I reviewed my first Graydon product — the thick, super nourishing Berry Rich Cream. Loaded with superfoods, botanical extracts and nourishing non-fragrant plant oils, it’s one of the most richly luxurious moisturizers I’ve seen. One of the tips that Graydon suggested was to power it up with a few drops of their glow-boosting Fullmoon Serum. I did try that but I’m a serum kinda guy — I like to use them on their own to enhance efficacy through deeper penetration into the skin layers. As you can see, Fullmoon Serum is this gorgeous, electric blue. It’s likely the result of the Tanacetum Annuum Oil in the formula. You may recognize that as Blue Tansy — the star ingredient in Herbivore’s Lapis oil and Blue Tansy Fruit Enzyme Resurfacing Clarity Mask. The blueish herb is known to help soothe redness and calm irritated, inflamed skin. Graydon says this about Fullmoon: “This multi-functional vegan serum soothes, smooths and protects for a more radiant looking complexion.” The star ingredient in Fullmoon isn’t actually Blue Tansy though. That designation goes to ingredient no. 1 — Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract. Moringa Seed Oil is a nourishing non-fragrant plant oil and an excellent source of oleic acid — a monounsaturated fatty acid that can replenish skin and prevent moisture loss. For such a high content of botanical oils, Fullmoon is a surprisingly light, yet complex serum with a terrific blend of collagen, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Oligopeptides and even Retinol. Here’s a little #texturetuesday showcasing some gorgeous blue beauties from @graydonskincare. 🌊 . Featured here is the Face Food mist, Intimacy Oil, and the Full Moon Serum. . The Face Food mist was recently reformulated and repackaged. It is an essence that improves hydration and features malachite, a turquoise gemstone which gives it the beautiful colour and helps to promote collagen. I have been loving this mist!! It feels so refreshing, and I love it as an extra boost under my serums. . The Intimacy Oil is a new launch for Graydon and it’s a body oil made with blue tansy. It is super light weight and sinks in right away. You can see its barely-there, water-like consistency in the shot! I also love that the dispenser is a spray pump, but it sprays in a straight line (not a mist) so its super easy to apply without making a big mess! . Full Moon has been a favourite of mine since last Christmas, not only for its stunning appearance, but because it’s totally a wonder serum for those lazy girl skincare days. It has vitamin C, collagen, retinol, peptides, blue tansy, and hyaluronic acid all packed into one serum, so you can just apply, top with a moisturizer and go, and still know your skin is getting tons of benefits! .
