WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO RETINOL TREATMENT OR DO YOU AVOID RETINOL? Share in comments below… _______________________________________________________ I’ve been eager to try something, anything from Switzerland-based Age Stop. I thought Marine Retinol SOS Balm was a good place to start! It’s funny because the product has broad benefits for skin beyond the “marine retinol” that the name indicates. There is, in fact, no conventional Retinol in the formula; rather a plethora of nourishing algae, moisturizing butters, plumping peptides, humectants and antioxidants. It’s actually quite an intriguing formula that I really enjoy. It has a brilliant green-blue tone that I assume is derived from the high algae content — which nourishes skin and delivers both humectant and antioxidant benefits. Age Stop’s Marine Retinol is so rich in moisturizing non-fragrant plant oils and butters that it makes a perfectly good moisturizer for most skin types — including mine. Since I love using a facial oil at night, I’ve been using Marine Retinol as my AM moisturizer. It does a terrific job of feeding my skin all the nutrients it needs. In fact, paired with Niacinamide and Vitamin C serums — as well as sunscreen in the AM — it rounds out a perfect regimen, boosting resiliency and skin tone. New to me is the 2nd ingredient, Shorea Robusta Seed Butter. Also known as Sal Seed Butter, it is a rich and luxurious botanical oil similar to argan oil and indigenous to India. Marine Retinol is impressive and I’m looking forward to trying more from Age Stop in 2020. ✅@agestopswitzerland | Marine Retinol SOS Balm _______________________________________________________ Check the Skincarma blog for smart product reviews and ingredient knowledge.
