Millie is sm better, while she did have her very big faults in canon, I cant find it in myself to blame her bc something huge and horrid happened (im trying so hard not to spoillll) but silverstream on the otherhand, literally thought she could somehow get away with putting all her jobs onto other riverclan cats to meet her thunderclan bf bc "heehee hoohoo im leaders only child therefore I can break the warrior code :3" -frostfur hater anon

haha I like Silverstream and Millie pretty equally honestly! I like that they're both not perfect cats. arguably, Millie is kind of a bad mom, but she's not the worst. She felt like a real mom, you know? She said a lot of the wrong things but in the end she genuinely was trying to be there for her kit (unfortunately not kits, too much)

just came up with a way to make jaybriar less weird: millie’s kits aren’t biologically graystripe’s, and she has them when their journey begins. by the time they get to the lake, they’re apprentice age.

Fuck the whole "Graystripe chooses Silverstream in StarClan" Gray, Silver, Millie, Sand, Fire, Raven, and Barley are all in a poly relationship in StarClan and love each other dearly.

We can all agree that a Soulmates AU for Warriors would make everything so much easier, right?

No more DoveBumbleTiger love triangle, just DoveTiger! And Bumble's forever alone!

However, I think that if your Soulmate dies (*coughs in Honeyfern and Berrynose), you can mate with another cat.

It's a red string of fate AU, but with a twist - the string only appears once they meet their soulmate - as in, they talk to them.

Sometimes they don't immediately get together, because they believe StarClan (more specifically Silktail, who is in charge of the strings) messed up.

Some cats don't have soulmates, or are soulmates with someone but not vice versa.

Cinder (the first)'s soulmate was Fire, but his soulmate was Sand.

Some cats also have two soulmates, like Gray being soulmates with Silver and Millie, or Holly being soulmates with Cinder (the second) and Fallen Leaves.

Sometimes cats don't end up with their soulmates, and that's fine.

The warrior code is different too.

You may have a mate in a different Clan, but only if they are your soulmate. You must also remember that you may meet them in battle someday, and that loyalty to your Clan is greater than love.

Medicine cats can only be mates and have kits with their soulmate.

TomxTom and She-catxShe-cat couples are an odd case, but they're rather common (RosexBlue, MothxLeaf, CinderxHolly, IvyxBlossom, need I go on?).

If unwanted kits are found/in the Clan, they're given to these same-gender couples, and the kits often don't learn of their true parents.

There is only one thing that can cause the string to truly break - soulmates breaking up.

Even when a cat's soulmate dies, the string will still be there, only visible to the dead cat.

Reincarnation confuses things honestly. The Three have different soulmates from who they were originally, as does Cinderheart.

Fallen Leaves also confuses things. Holly's second string did appear when they met, but he's dead, so it really shouldn't've.
