anywho sorry for not posting for a while gang, got caught up in a whoooole lot of irl things that drove my motivation to draw to an all time low. crazy stuff!! im not fully back in terms of motivation but i did get the motivation to draw a jaybriar piece while on call with my girlfriend. he was singing and i was listening so i had to make something based off it, im only legally required otherwise i will get shot there are 90 million snipers around my house and all of their scopes are pointed at my forehead !! jayfeather design by @druidshollow briarlight design by @murkshade

its so cool to see jayvik in the top 3 for the ship list tbh. the first thing i ever shipped as a little kid was a disabled x disabled ship (jaybriar). I had just relearned to walk at the time and I remember my best friend was a boy with a serious auto immune disease that had him in and out of the hospital. we'd play together on the playground a lot because when i couldn't do something, he understood. and when he couldn't do something i got it too.

disability isn't prioritized in fandom spaces when it comes to rep, and a lot of people don't know the bond that comes with having a partner who is also disabled by your side who understands. thats what jayvik means for me and it makes me happy that other people love it and love them as much as i do.
