➫ DEAN wouldn't let whoever THEY were have him. He and Ash had just gotten into a comfortable pace with each other, the man was joining them on more missions, and while Dean was making his own peace with that, THIS happened. Something had gotten a hold on Ash and his heart felt like it was squeezing itself dry. He watched as the man he had conflicting feelings for, walk away from him, dark and clouded eyes that no longer held the affection he craved. Sam had to hold him back, the several attempts he had made to reach the other, jerking them both forward and the hands on him grew tighter, bruising. He was DESPERATE, angry. "Let him go, you son of a bitch! I'll kill you, I swear I'll go down to hell myself and KILL every last one of YOU. Don't hurt him or I swear-"

And then a voice, a chilling voice threatens him to, but it comes from the mouth he never thought would say a bad word to him, never anything threatening. His name felt safe in the voice of Ash, but not today. It enough to twist the knife, which he knows is the point, and it shows on his face that it hits him. HARD. "Ashley! Snap out of it! Don't let this fucker get you, come on, man! You know me, I'm going to come after you, before you'll ever get me, I'd rather die."

Fox continues to crack into sunflower seeds as Ash prattles on about one of his many adventures. The agent did ask, but hearing it straight from the horse's mouth is a little... well, hard to believe. He's not one to doubt right off the bat, but some of the shit he's spewing just seems like something out of a schlocky horror movie.

"Wait a minute." Mulder finally speaks up, interrupting Williams mid sentence, "I lost you there for a second. Can you repeat what you just said?"

"Yeah yeah, rub it in." Mia muttered as she did her best to rid herself of the thick, substance. But it was covering her form so it was no use. They had heard a sound. First it was in the wall to their left then to their right. Then it came from above. As Mia looked up, blood started to drip from a crack in the ceiling. As she went to wipe the drips from her face, the dripping turned to a steady stream. Then it was like opening flood gates as the fluid waterfalled from the ceiling. Ash had managed to jump out of the way. Mia was showered in it.

Her boots slipped and she fell to the ground. It was only a few seconds of blood pouring before it stopped. Mia was gasping for air and trying to pull herself to her feet, not amused by Ash's remark. "Why the fuck does this shit have to happen to me? It's bullshit."

𝐒he had done this before, quite a few times actually, and her father would have likely scolded her if he had been here in King's Landing, but one of the nice things about her father hating King's Landing, meant that she was able to get away with more before he found out, if he found it.

The lady turned to face the sell sword, tossing a dark blue cloak with a horse emblem on it, and a small bag of gold. "Firstly, for the stables, then I'm going for a ride. I need you to pose as an escort till the gates of King's Landing. From then on, I'll have no need of you, but I need to get away from my father's men."

➫ DEAN wouldn’t have allowed himself to be this happy with anybody else, sex before was just a way to get off. Nothing to it, he was an expert at it, wham bam, thank you ma’am. He didn’t realize before Ash that it didn’t have to be that way, that the act of sex itself could be something more or different. He had grown used to the fast pace and having sex for the getting off part, maybe because she was hot. That that he was picky.

But this morning, he was just happy to wake up and still see Ash beside him.

It hadn’t taken them very long to get to this point, lazy kisses had turned into heat underneath the thin motel sheets. Dean’s eyes fluttered shut for a moment, shuddering and letting out a sigh similar to a gasp. He made sure his thumb applied gentle pressure while his hand worked up then back down again, wanting to hear more of Ash’s noises than frankly his own. He kissed him, open mouthed and desperate to have anything, something of the other’s on him, tongue rolling when he groaned into his mouth, then only pulling away for air.

“Not a dream. Just a damn good morning, babe. You sound pretty.”

His eyelids felt heavy, wanting to roll his eyes back and just enjoy the symphony of their mutual arousal, but Dean insisted he watch Ashley’s face, he wanted to know the other hunter was feeling everything he was, too. His voice coming out hazy, croaked a little from how hard he was.

➫ DEAN felt a laugh bubbling up, and allowed it to happen. He hadn’t felt so carefree with any one in a long time, much less, he hadn’t had a best friend in even longer. It was a nice change of pace, and they made everything so, so casual. Of course, they would tease each other, they poked fun at each other, it was always very natural feeling. Dean would pick on him for his lack of dating, there was definitely not anything behind his constant poking at that particular nest.

“Yeah, yeah. Like I haven’t ever had ice cream before, and it didn’t turn me on, buddy. So try again.” But he takes a big ol lick of the chocolate covered strawberry scoop he had, green eyes finding and locking on Ash. “Maybe I might just, at least that way we won’t have to eat in your moving pile of junk.”

➫ DEAN can't help the look of disappointment that washes over his face, because he knows Ashley, he knows the other won't so easily volunteer the information. Even if they have gotten progressively more drunk throughout the evening, enjoying themselves after a successful hunt. But this time had been different, they had bonded, connected on a level even Dean knew - it meant something. There was something being unspoken between them.

"'Cause we gotta talk about it, Ash. Otherwise, I honestly see us going no where, we're gonna keep pretending it doesn't exist." He dips his head, bringing it up again once he's tipping back the bottle he has at his lips. The usual feelings he's been surpressing, they're threatening to come out but it needs to hear it from the other first or else he'd never say it, the words would never be uttered. He can't. It's too engrained into him not to be this way. "Do you want to live like that? With something heavy weighing on your mind?"

Clearly, he had already drank his fill, at least enough to make him feel the slight buzz that always came after three beers. Not enough to be drunk but certainly enough to loosen his tongue. "How you feel about what? Or who.. I should say. Do you secretly hate Sam or something?"

➫ DEAN is angry. And he doesn't know why, in all honesty. Ash was fine, he had taken the time to heal, and stayed in the bunker with the others while he was out. What he HATED was the fact that he wasn't told, he had to come home and find him like this. Sam had tried to ease him into the room, tell him while he was standing there, but Dean had assumed too much, too fast, and his blood was hot. Fresh in from a hunt, he still had blood and guts all over his boots, but he still yelled and he raged. He would hear none of the explanations given, only what his best friend had to say.

What he hated even more, was when Ash regarded him as coldly as he had, not really showing any emotion that Dean might have expected. It PISSED him off in fact, the fact that he was so casual about nearly dying.

"You're not fine! This is why I don't want anyone doing missions alone! What have I freakin' said about that?! Have I been talking Klingon this whole time?" In this moment he doesn't realize how he's been the one on the other side of this conversation USUALLY. He was the one being reckless and trying to leave on his own, but it bugged him when it was someone he really cared about. "Could you give more of a shit about this and yourself? Before I die of a heart attack at forty!"
