doctor & stress !

doctor: how often does my muse visit the doctor? do they tend to go routinely, or only when something is wrong?

she tends to go when something is wrong. lois knows she’s supposed to be doing regular checkups and the like but let’s be honest, that does not happen with her. and she only goes when there’s something seriously wrong. like something’s broken or there’s stitches needed. but even then, she’s had to deal with her own fair share of supervillain injuries so is pretty good at being able to patch things up without having to go to a doctor. 

stress: does my muse handle stress well? what is a surefire sign for others to tell that they’ve become stressed? how does stress affect them mentally / physically?

so for the most part, yeah she can handle stress well. she’s not one to tell people if she’s feeling stressed because she’s been too conditioned to deal with her problems by herself. others can tell if she’s feeling stressed when she gets snappier than usual but to people who don’t know her well, they’ll think she’s just being herself. mentally, it used to tire her out but unless it’s a huge stress, she’s learnt to have stress and keep her sanity. physically, there aren’t any changes besides her being somewhat tired.

death  :  is there anything in your muse’s life that they should be letting go of ?

her father’s death, and blaming herself for it, as well as the events that transpired after it. she thinks about the fact that if she didn’t let the grief consume her in such an unhealthy way then maybe she wouldn’t have gone down the path that she did and could have been good. 

the devil  :  is your muse addicted to any substances ? is there anything that could possibly make them quit ?

not a substance, but elektra’s somewhat addicted to violence. it’s something that’s been a part of her since she was young, from the moment that her mother was murdered on that yacht, and it’s the only thing that she knows she can rely on. it’s like her comfort blanket but she’s trying to wean herself from it to prove that she is more than a weapon, more than someone’s assassin.

sleep: how many hours a night does my muse sleep? do they take naps? how restful is their sleep? do they experience nightmare? if so, how often?

anywhere from zero to twelve  !  depends how busy she is with research  .  she does take naps throughout the day if she doesn’t sleep a lot overnight  —  often on the bus  .  doesn’t get nightmares or dreams  ,  really  ,  so her sleep is usually pretty restful  .

stress: does my muse handle stress well? what is a surefire sign for others to tell that they’ve become stressed? how does stress affect them mentally / physically?

sometimes  ?  it depends what she’s stressed over  .  if it’s work  ,  she’ll often dive in and keep working well past when she should stop  ,  just because it’s hard to sleep when she’s stressed  .  if it’s personal  ...  she just gets really jittery  ,  she’ll probably tie her hair back  (  having hair in her face makes it so much worse  )  .
