Imagine going ice skating with Flip...

Flip’s probably gone ice skating before, it was a common thing for him when he was a child to go to a frozen pond or an actual rink with his friends during the winter, as there was not really anything to do otherwise.

It would be his idea, of course. You’d never think to bring it up, but when his eyes light up while talking about it, you realize how much he loves it.

He admits that he hasn’t really gotten time to go recently, what with his undercover work taking up all his time. So, you’d find out when his schedule was open for at least an hour and take him then.

You don’t tell him right away, you want it to be a surprise. You two get in the car and start driving, he’s oblivious to where you two are going or what you will be doing, so he impatiently asks you questions.

“Sweetheart, why can’t you just tell me?”

“Because its a surprise, boo.”

He pouts. “Can’t you just gimme a hint?”

“Nope! That would ruin the surprise, wouldn’t it?”

Flip sighs and looks out his window.

Its snowing, the roadway had just been cleared off and large snowbanks caressed the sides of the road as you made your way. Trees and houses and lawns had been given their blanket of snow as well, whizzing by as you two drove.

There was a pause. “Can’t you just–”

“Flip, I said no.”

His shoulders droop at your protest as you take a left into a parking lot. Confusion shows over his face as he turns to look at where you brought him.

In large blue letters, “Colorado Springs Skate Rink” filled his vision. He looks at you with bright eyes and mouth in a wide, open smile before pulling you into an embrace in the car.

“God I love you, babe! This is the best surprise I’ve ever gotten!”

You pat him on the shoulder gently, giggling. “I love you too, Flip.”

ive had a fucking abysmal week at school and just wanted to go out of our horrible, boring ass village on the bus tomorrow to go get some coffee and some vegan chocolate and look in the charity shops for some cds but 

mum had a go at me about me having agendas about spending money and refused to give me any cash

when i asked if i could take some money out of my savings account, she also said no

cant even use my own money wtf??

and earlier she had a go at me about how grumpy and negative ive been lately and asked “if anything positive will ever come out of my mouth again”
