Author’s Note: So happy I got to release my first Johnny Cade story a lot earlier than I thought. Ever since watching and reading The Outsiders I just fell in love with Johnny. I feel like I’m the only one that didn’t read or watch The Outsiders in middle school. My big sister did but I didn’t but again we didn’t go to the same middle school! Anyways, enjoy and let me know what you all think! Hoping to release another Dallas Winston story next week for my 24th birthday!!
Yes, Y/N’s family are considered greasers in the town they live in, but Y/N does have a better life at least home life than most greasers her age. Y/N is sixteen and is the middle child in her family. She has an older sister who is eighteen named Liza and a little brother who is thirteen named Lee. Her mom is a stay-at-home mom, and her dad is a manger at a gas station just down the road.
Y/N has two best friends that she hangs out with all the time named Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade. She goes to school with Ponyboy. Y/N is the same age as Johnny and Pony is fourteen.
Y/N’s family is close with Pony’s family since one of Pony’s older brothers, Sodapop work for Y/N’s father. Y/N is the same age as Sodapop.
Y/N is always out somewhere with Pony and Johnny. She sees Ponyboy like another little brother but how she sees Johnny is completely different. When her Y/E/C eyes met his brown eyes for the very first time, she felt like she was put under a spell. As time went on Y/N’s crush on Johnny grew bigger and bigger.
Johnny is a shy and quiet boy but that’s because he comes from an abusive home. His parents constantly fight since his father is a big drunk. Sometimes the abuse gets physical not just between his parents but sometimes that abuse gets put on Johnny, too. His mom abuses him, too but she only does it verbally while his father abused him physically. It’s bad enough he gets abused by the SOC’s, who are the high-class people of the town, but he also gets abuse in his own home by his own parents. When Y/N sees the bruises, Johnny gets from this abuse it makes her skin crawl. Johnny is a great boy. He’s sweet, charming, and all together puts his friends needs before his own needs.
Ponyboy always tells Y/N how Johnny thinks he’s not worth to be on this earth. Hearing that makes Y/N worry about him even more than she already does. Just because his parents act like he’s worthless doesn’t mean his friends think that he’s worthless. Y/N always makes sure that Johnny knows how happy she is to have him in her life.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N woke up on a Saturday morning around eight. Y/N is going to be spending the day out with Ponyboy and Johnny. They made plans to just walk around town and grab a bite for lunch at the small diner. She’s set to meet the boys at the lot around ten, so she crawled out of twin sized bed.
She shares a bedroom with her little brother but when she woke up, he wasn’t in his bed. She knew he must already be up. Y/N changed out of her nightgown and changed into an old pair of blue jeans her sister gave her as a hand-me-down and a plain black t-shirt. She went down the hall into the bathroom to brush out her Y/H/C hair. She decided to put it up into a ponytail since the weather was going to be more mild than it has been the last few days. After she finished with her hair, she brushed her teeth since she knew she would forget to do it after she eats her breakfast. After she finished, she walked back into her shared bedroom. Y/N grabbed her beat up sneakers and slipped them on. She grabbed her jean jacket off the hook. The jacket was another hand-me-down but from her dad this time. He always wore it when he was a teenager so, Y/N does the same thing.
As Y/N walked out of her bedroom to the kitchen she put on her jacket. When Y/N got to the kitchen she just saw her big sister sitting at the small table eating a bowl of cereal. “Hey.” Y/N said getting her sister’s attention. “Where is everyone?” Y/N asked in a curious tone grabbing a bowl out of the cabinet. “Dad had to go into work early and mom took Lee to go get a pair of new shoes.” Liza told her. Y/N just nodded as she fixed herself a bowl of cereal.
“What are you up to today?” Liza asked once Y/N sat down across from her with her bowl of cereal. “I’m going to go hangout with Pony and Johnny for the day.” Y/N told her, took a spoonful of cereal, and put it into her mouth. “Oh so, you mean you’re going to go hangout with Pony and your boyfriend.” Liza said with a teasing look in her eyes. “Liza, Johnny isn’t my boyfriend.” Y/N told her in a stern tone as she rolled her eyes. “But you want him to be your boyfriend.” Liza said which made Y/N roll her eyes again.
She knew she was going to regret telling Liza about her crush on Johnny.
“Liza! Will you stop!” Y/N told her with frustration in her voice. “Yes, I like Johnny but we’re just friends!” Y/N told her. “He probably doesn’t even think about me as more than a friend.” Y/N added looking down at her bowl of cereal. Liza got up from her seat. “Never say never, Y/N.” Liza told her picking up her empty bowl and walked over to the sink.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
As Y/N walked to the lot she kept on thinking about what Liza told her. Y/N has always thought about just coming right out and telling Johnny about her feelings for him but, her biggest fear is him turning her down. She doesn’t want to ruin what she has with Johnny. Especially since he doesn’t have that many people in his life that cares for him.
When Y/N got to the lot she only saw Johnny standing there with his hands in his pockets of his jean jacket. “Hey Johnny.” Y/N said getting his attention. “Where is Pony?” Y/N asked him.
Usually when she meets them at the lot Pony and Johnny are always there waiting for her together. Since Johnny has to pass Pony’s house to get to the lot, he just waits at the Curtis household, for Pony to come out and they walk to the lot together.
“Pony isn’t feeling well so he’s taking a rain check.” Johnny told her. “Oh so, it’s just going to be the two of us.” Y/N said as she could feel her heart rate sped up. She’s never hung out with just Johnny. “If you want to, it’s okay if you want to take a rain check, too.” Johnny said looking away from her.
He went to walk away but Y/N put her hand onto his left shoulder. “It’s okay. I’ll still hangout with you.” Y/N told him with a comforting smile.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N and Johnny walked around town with each other. They went into some stores to just look and see what they had since they knew the money they had was only for food. Once they got hungry, they went straight to the diner to grab a bite.
As the day went on Y/N seemed to pull Johnny out of his shell. She’s never heard Johnny talk this much before. Turns out her and Johnny have a whole lot more in common than she thought. After they got lunch, they continued to walk around till the sun started to set.
Y/N took Johnny to a hill that wasn’t too far from her house to watch the sun set. She told him when she was a little girl she would sit on this hill with Liza and just watch the sun go down. As they watched the sunset there was a comfortable silence between them till Y/N decided to break it.
“Johnny, can I ask you something?” Y/N asked him as she stared out at the beautiful view in front of them. Johnny looked over at her. “Yeah.” Johnny answered her. “Do you really think that this world would be better without you?” Y/N asked looking over at him. She is scared to know what he’s going to say but she needs to hear this answer from him. “Sometimes, yeah.” Johnny said looking away from her. That answer made Y/N’s heart ache.
“Johnny, you aren’t worthless.” Y/N told him which made him look back at her. “I’m not?” Johnny said looking at her with a surprised look in his puppy-like eyes. “You mean something to Pony and all of your other greaser friends. Hell, I don’t know what Pony would do without you.” Y/N told him with a soft look in her eyes.
Y/N took one of his hands in hers. Johnny looked down at their intertwined hands. He could feel his nerves start to pace through out his body. He’s never held a girl's hand before. Actually, he’s never held anyone’s hand before.
“You mean a lot to me, and I also don’t know what I would do without you either.” Y/N told him giving his hand a light squeeze. When Johnny looked back up at her, his brown eyes locked with her Y/E/C eyes.
Both leaned in at the same time connected their lips together for a kiss. When their lips met it felt like two puzzle pieces finally coming together. Y/N felt the butterflies in her stomach go into complete chaos. She couldn’t believe that her lips were on Johnny’s lips. It felt like she was in a dream. They released from the kiss when they were running out of oxygen. The kiss was both of their first.
“There is another reason.” Y/N told him once she caught her breath. “I also like you as more than just a friend.” Y/N confessed to him. That fear she had quickly melted away because of the kiss. Johnny’s lips turned up into a smile as his cheeks turned a light red. “I like you more as a friend, too.” Johnny confessed. Now it was Y/N’s turn to put on a smile.
Johnny let go of her hand and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Y/N leaned her head onto his shoulder. Johnny lightly rubbed his hand onto her shoulder as they watched the rest of the sunset together.

Summary: Y/N lives with her abusive alcoholic father and her boyfriend, Dallas wants her to move out of the house because she always busts her ass for her father and gets nothing in return.
Word Count: 1,914
Author’s Note: Hope you all enjoy!! Hope everyone’s Wednesday is going good because so far mine has gone to shit! This imagine isn’t very accurate to the movie or book! I did change somethings like Buck’s place being a bar downstairs! Buck’s house is more like a party house but in this story I made it into a bar because why not! Hope you all don’t mind the changes!!
Y/N was peacefully sleeping in her bed when she heard her alarm clock go off in her ear. She let out a groan as she opened her eyes. She slammed one of her hands down on the alarm clock to snooze it. “Fucking hell.” Y/N let out a hiss as she ran both of her hands down her face.
She really wished she could stay in bed all day, but she knew she couldn’t. Y/N lazily got out of her comfy bed and changed into a fresh pair of clothes. Even though she doesn’t have to be at work till five she knew there was stuff that needed to be done around the house.
Y/N lives only with her father who is an alcoholic. All he does is drink all day at home and then at night he goes out to bars and drinks all night. Y/N’s mom passed away when she was only two months old. She died in a car accident. Her mom was coming home from work when a rainstorm hit. Due to the heavy rain, she lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. Her mom shouldn’t even been working since she just had Y/N, but she was the only one that was bringing money into the house since her father couldn’t keep a job because of his alcohol problem.
Y/N pretty much raised herself by the age she was five. When her mom first passed her grandmother helped take care of her till her grandmother had enough of her father’s behavior. Her grandmother tried to take Y/N with her, but her father wouldn’t let it happen. He told her grandmother that if she tried to take Y/N away from him, he would file a restraining order against her.
The only reason why Y/N and her dad have a roof over their heads is because Y/N works at a local bar. Even though Y/N is seventeen and under the age to drink the owner of the bar, Buck let her work for him since he knows about her home situation. Her boyfriend Dallas helped her get the job.
Dallas lives at the bar in a bedroom upstairs. Y/N has been with Dallas for almost two years. Dallas really wishes Y/N would leave her father. Her dad mentally abuses her and is never thankful for what she does for him. No matter what Dallas says she just doesn’t have the courage to leave her father. He’s the only biological family she has.
After Y/N changed into a pair of regular clothes she walked out of her bedroom. She was wearing a pair of old jeans, a white t-shirt, and an oversized flannel over top the shirt.
She stopped in front of her dad’s bedroom that was right next to hers. The door was ajar, so she decided to peek in. She saw her dad passed out drunk on the bed that was still made. Y/N could smell the strong scent of beer and whiskey which made her scrunch her nose up in disgust. She let out a sigh as she walked away and made her way down the steps.
When she walked into the living room it was a complete mess. The couch cushions were thrown across the room laying in different places across the room. There was broken glass spread across the floor. Someone must’ve pissed her dad off so when he came home, he let his anger out on the furniture. Sometimes her dad can be an angry drunk if you push his buttons enough.
Y/N let out another sigh as she walked into the kitchen to get the broom and dustpan. Her jaw dropped when she saw a bigger mess in the kitchen. The floor was scattered with broken plates and glasses. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!” Y/N snapped in annoyance and frustration in her voice.
She grabbed the broom and dustpan and started to clean up the broken plates and glass. After she finished cleaning up the kitchen, she went into the living room and started to clean up the mess in there.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N was now at Buck’s bar working her shift. Y/N was working at the bar while Buck was waiting tables. When it’s just her and him working he rather wait the tables than have Y/N do it. He doesn’t want her to get harassed by drunk perverts. When she’s at the counter she has that in front of her, protecting her. Buck is just as protective of Y/N as Dallas is.
Y/N’s shift started out slow till seven o’ clock hit. Her and Buck were busting their asses. At nine it started to slow down but Y/N was still exhausted. From doing work at her house to doing work at the bar, she was so tired, and her feet were killing her. She still had at least four hours left of her shift.
Dallas walked into the bar. He just got done hanging out with his boys. He smirked when he spotted Y/N at the counter. He made his way over to her. “Hey, doll.” Dallas said getting her attention. His smirk faded though when he saw the tired look in his girlfriend’s Y/E/C eyes. “Hey Dally.” Y/N said in a tiredness tone.
“Y/N, you look exhausted.” Dallas said with concern in his voice. “It was fucking chaos in here earlier.” Y/N told him. “How much longer is your shift?” Dallas asked her. “About four hours.” Y/N answered him. “Why?” She asked wondering why he was asking. “I’ll work the rest of your shift.” Dallas told her. “What? Dally no, you don’t have to.” Y/N told him in a surprised tone. “Doll, you’re exhausted. You need to go home and get some sleep.” Dallas told her.
He would just have her go upstairs to his room, but he knew with all of the noise down here, she wouldn’t be able to even close her eyes.
“Dally-” Y/N started to say but he cut her off immediately. “I’m going to get tell Buck.” Dallas told her and walked away to go find Buck.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
After Buck said it was okay for Dallas to finish Y/N’s shift she went home. Buck’s bar isn’t far from her house. When she walked through the door she went straight up the steps. She walked past her dad’s bedroom which was empty. She knew he was out bar hopping.
Y/N went into her bedroom and closed the door. She got changed into a nightgown and crawled into her bed. She turned off her lamp that was on her nightstand and cuddled up into her bed.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N was awakened by loud noises coming from downstairs. She looked over at her alarm clock and it was five minutes after one in the morning. “Y/N! GET YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN HERE!” She heard her dad yell out to her. Y/N quickly got out of her bed and walked out of her room. She quickly made her way down the steps.
Before a word could come out of her mouth, she saw her dad standing over a broken picture frame. The frame was completely shattered. The picture that was laying in the broken glass was the only picture Y/N has of her and her mother. The picture was taken in the hospital. Her mom was laying in the bed holding Y/N in her arms.
“What did you do?” Y/N asked him quickly walking over to the mess. She kneeled down onto the floor. “Stupid fucking frame.” Her dad slurred out. “This is the only picture I have of mom and I.” Y/N told him in a stern tone. “It’s just a stupid fucking picture of a slut holding a baby.” Her dad snapped out. Y/N could quickly feel her blood start to boil. “Don’t you fucking dare call her a slut!” Y/N snapped as she stood up. Her dad slapped her across the face. He slapped her so hard it made her fall to the floor.
Y/N felt her whole body go into shock. This is the first time her father has laid a hand on her.
“Who the fuck do you think you’re talking to.” Her father hissed as he looked down at her with dark eyes. Y/N could feel the tears start flood her eyes. She quickly stood up and ran out the front door. She was scared that if she stayed, he would hit her again.
She ran down the road to Buck’s with tears streaming down her face. When Y/N got to the door of Buck’s she banged on it. She kept banging till someone opened the door. “Y/N.” Buck said surprised to see her. He noticed the tears rolling down her face. “What’s wrong?” Buck asked her with worry. “Where’s Dally?” Y/N asked him ignoring his question. “He’s upstairs in his room.” Buck told her.
She pushed past him and when straight to the stairs. She quickly walked up the steps to Dallas’s door. She banged on the door will it opened to reveal Dallas. “He struck me.” Y/N cried out before Dallas could say anything. “Shit! Come on.” Dallas said bringing her into his room. “Sit on the bed.” Dallas told her shutting the door. Y/N did what he told her to do.
Dallas turned on his light. He sat down next to her and examined her face. “Did he slap or punch you?” Dallas asked her. He was trying his best to hide his anger. “He slapped me across the face.” Y/N told him trying to calm herself down.
Dallas noticed one of her cheeks were bright red. “I’m going to get you some ice.” Dallas told her standing up and walking out of the room. Y/N took a deep breath to calm herself down.
She knows Dallas is doing everything he can to not go to her house and beat the shit out of her dad.
When Dallas came back into the room, he was holding a rag that was wrapped around some ice cubes. “Put this onto your cheek. It’ll help it from swelling up.” Dallas told her handing the rag. Y/N just gave him a nod and put the ice rag onto her cheek. Dallas sat down next to her.
He let out a heavy sigh as he ran a hand through his short brunette hair. “Y/N, you got to get out of that fucking house.” Dallas told her as he wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders. He rubbed up and down her arm in comfort. “Okay.” Y/N said in a soft tone. She took the ice off her cheek and looked over at him.
“Can I stay here with you?” Y/N asked him. “You don’t even have to ask, doll.” Dallas told her. “I’ll do anything to get you away from that fucking monster.” Dallas told her. He took the rag out of her hand and put it on the small table that is next to his bed.
“Let’s get some rest.” Dallas told her. He let her lay down first and then he laid down next to her. “We’ll go get your stuff in the morning.” Dallas told her pulling the blanket over top of them.
“I love you, Dally.” Y/N told him wrapping her arms around his torso. She laid her head onto his bare chest. “I love you, too, doll.” Dallas told her wrapping an arm around her shoulders like he did before. He gave her a light kiss on the top of her head.

Summary: Y/N was with Dallas before she started dating Sodapop. After Dallas shows up to Y/N’s door that’s when old feelings come back and Y/N also finds out why Dallas ended things with her.
Word Count: 2,522
Author’s Note: So sorry it took me this long to post this! I was dealing with a lot of pain in my back the last two in a half weeks. I’m happy to say that I’m feeling better and will hopefully get back to releasing a new story every week. Also, this story is more for Dallas girls than Sodapop girls!
It was a little bit before seven in the morning on a Saturday and Y/N was already up doing chores around the house. Y/N lives in a single parent household. Her father does have a good nine to five job but they do still struggle with money.
Y/N’s mom passed away not too long after her little brother, Lee was born. When her dad is working, she takes care of her brother who is six years old. Since Y/N just turned seventeen she wanted to get a job to help her dad out but he told her no because he only wants her to focus on her schoolwork.
“Y/N!” She heard her dad call out to her. “In the kitchen!” Y/N called back out to her father as she was cleaning the kitchen table. Her dad walked into the kitchen wearing his work clothes. “Getting a early head start I see.” Her dad said as he walked over to the counter to make himself some coffee. “I might as well before Lee gets up.” Y/N told him.
Lee can be a handful so it’s a bit hard keeping the house clean. But Y/N wouldn’t have it any other way.
Y/N tries her best to not just be a big sister to Lee, but also a mother to him as well. Since he was just a baby when their mom passed away, Y/N shows Lee pictures of their mom and tells him stories.
Her dad is very thankful to have a daughter like Y/N.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
After her dad left for work Y/N made pancakes for Lee to eat for breakfast. After she finished she went upstairs to wake Lee up so he could eat before the pancakes could get cold.
As he sat at the table and ate his pancakes Y/N started to clean up the stove and pack away all of the ingredients. Y/N stopped when she heard the doorbell ring. “Coming!” Y/N called out as she quickly made her way to the front door.
When she opened the door she saw her new boyfriend, Sodapop standing there. She met Soda at the gas station he works at when she was hanging out with some friends from school. When he asked her out, she wasn’t sure since at the time she had just got out of a relationship with a different guy. But she decided to give him a chance because her friends told her too since Soda seemed like a nice guy.
“Hey, Sweetheart.” Soda said with a smile. “Hi, Soda!” Y/N said returning the smile. “What brings you by?” Y/N asked him in a curious tone. “I wanted to ask you something before I head off to work.” Sodapop told her. “What is it?” Y/N asked him. “Since it’s Saturday, Steve and I are going to this party tonight and I was wondering if you would be my beautiful date.” Sodapop said to her with a flirty look in his eyes. “Of course! Sounds fun!” Y/N said with an excited smile on her face. “Great!” Sodapop said with excitement in his voice.
He gave her a quick kiss on the lips. “I’ll pick you up at seven.” Sodapop told her. “Sounds good.” Y/N told him with a nod. He gave her another kiss on the lips as a see you later and left. Once he was out of her sight Y/N shut the door.
“Eww.” She heard Lee say from the kitchen. He was watching her and Soda from the kitchen. “What?” Y/N asked him walking into the kitchen. “You gave him cooties.” Lee told her with disgust in his tone. Y/N rolled her eyes. “Eat your food.” Y/N told him and went back to cleaning.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N decided to wear something simple to the party. She didn’t want to wear something too spicy especially since she is going with Soda as a date. The last time she went to a house party was with her ex-boyfriend. Y/N was wearing a pretty baby blue blouse with a matching flow skirt that went to the middle of her knees. Since it was summertime she decided not to wear a jacket. To finish her out fit she wore a pair of black colored flats.
Sodapop showed up right on time to pick her up. The first thing he said to her was that she looked beautiful.
When they got to the party it wasn’t as crowded as Y/N thought it was going to be. Y/N was sitting on a long couch with Soda and Steve. Steve’s girlfriend was sitting on his lap. They are a lot more comfortable with each other since they have been dating each other for almost a year.
Y/N was getting thirsty, so she excused herself and went into the kitchen to get something to drink. She was glad to see bottles filled with water since she wasn’t in the mood to drink alcohol. Before she could open up the water bottle, she grabbed she heard someone say her name behind her.
When she turned around, she was hit with a surprise. “Dallas.” Y/N said with surprise. “Hey.” Dallas said with a small smile. They haven’t seen each other since their breakup which was two months ago.
“I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” Dallas told her. “Well, here I am.” Y/N said trying to avoid his brown eyes. “Are you here with your friends?” Dallas asked her. “Actually, I’m here with a date.” Y/N told him. She didn’t know if she should tell him that, but her brain just immediately chose for her.
Before Dallas could ask who, she was here with Soda came in. “Hey beautiful.” Sodapop said wrapping an arm around Y/N’s lower back. “You’re here with Soda?” Dallas said as he felt his heart drop seeing Soda wrap his arm around Y/N. One of his best friends is dating her. “Yeah, um we’ve been seeing each other for a month now.” Y/N told him. “Oh.” Dallas said. That was the only thing he could say.
“How do you two know each other?” Sodapop asked them. “We used to date.” Y/N answered him. Now it was Soda’s turn to be surprised. “Really? I had no idea.” Sodapop said in a surprised tone look back and forth from Y/N to Dallas. “How long were you two together?” Sodapop asked. “Almost nine months.” Y/N answered as she looked down at her feet. “I was the dumbass who ended it.” Dallas said finally speaking. He had a hint of anger in his tone.
“You got a good girl here, Soda.” Dallas told him. “Don’t screw it up.” Dallas told him giving him a pat on the shoulder and walked away and out of the room.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It was the next night and Y/N was at home. Her dad was working overtime, so she was babysitting Lee. Since it was past nine o’ clock Y/N had already put Lee to bed.
She was sitting in the kitchen reading a book and drinking a cup of warm tea. She flipped to the next page getting ready to start another chapter. She went to grab her mug to get a sip of her tea but stopped when she heard banging on the front door.
“What the hell?” Y/N standing up. She put her book down onto the table. Who the hell is banging on her door at nine o’ clock at night. She walked up to the door and opened it too see Dallas standing on her porch. “Dallas?” Y/N said with both surprise and confusion in her voice. Why was he at her house this late at night?
“Hey Doll!” Dallas said with a flirty smirk on his face. When he stepped closer to her, she could immediately smell vodka and whiskey on him. “Shit! You’re drunk!” Y/N said taking a step back from him. “Dallas, please tell me you didn’t drive here.” Y/N said with worry in her voice. “Come on Doll, I’m not that fucking stupid.” Dallas told her with a wink. Y/N rolled her eyes as she closed the door. She knew she couldn’t send him away. The condition he’s in she knew he needed to go lay down.
“Come on.” Y/N said grabbing one of his hands and took him to her room. It’s a good thing that her room is the only bedroom that is downstairs.
“Dallas, lay down on my bed.” Y/N told him once they were in her bedroom. “I thought I was the one in charge?” Dallas told her still flirting with her.
Before Y/N could say anything, his lips were on hers. Y/N was taken back by the kiss but couldn’t pull away. She didn’t pull away from the kiss till she could feel him nudging her towards her bed.
“Dallas, no! We can’t!” Y/N told him. “Come on, Doll. I know you still have feelings for me.” Dallas said going in to kiss her again, but she quickly stepped away from him letting go of his hand. “Dallas, I’m with Soda.” Y/N told him in a stern tone. When those words left her mouth Dallas’s face dropped.
“What the fuck am I doing?” Dallas hissed going to walk away but he stumbled over his own feet. If it weren’t for the wall he would’ve fell right down onto his face. “Dallas.” Y/N said walking over to him.
She took his hand again and walked him over to her bed. She pulled her blanket down to the end of her bed. “Lay down.” Y/N told him. Dallas did what she told him to do. She took off his shoes. “I’ll be right back with a glass of water.” Y/N told him.
She walked out of her room and into the kitchen. She got out a glass from the cabinet and filled it up with waters when she walked back into her room Dallas was already passed out. She let out a sigh and sat the glass down on to the small table she had next to her bed.
She couldn’t help but feel like she just betrayed Soda. But she knows that her feelings for Dallas aren’t gone. That’s why she couldn’t pull away from the kiss.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
When Dallas woke up it was morning. He looked over at the clock on the wall and he let out a groan when he noticed the clock read six a.m. He surprisingly remembers everything that happened last night.
Y/N walked into the room. “Glad to see that you’re awake.” Y/N told him closing the door behind her. “Where did you sleep?” Dallas asked her as he sat up in the bed. “On the floor.” Y/N answered him. “Fuck!” Dallas hissed running one of his hands through his short brown hair.
“Y/N, I’m so sorry.” Dallas told her. “Why did you do you do all that?” Y/N asked him in a stern tone walking closer to the bed. “After I saw you at the party with Soda, I realized that my feelings for you aren’t gone.” Dallas told her. “I don’t understand!” Y/N started. “Dallas you were the one that broke up with me!” Y/N told him with a hint of frustration in her voice. “I know and I’m a fucking idiot for that.” Dallas told her looking at her with soft eyes.
“Why did you break up with me?” Y/N asked him. She’s had that question floating in her for a while now. “Because I found out that I’m in love with you and I’m not good at love.” Dallas told her looking away from her. Y/N could feel tears start to fill her eyes. Dallas could feel tears start to form in his brown eyes, so he quickly stood up from the bed. He put on his shoes that were laying right next to the bed.
“I better go before your dad gets up.” Dallas told her. Y/N watched him walk out of her room and out the front door.

Since Y/N’s dad and brother were out for the day Y/N let Soda come over. She was hoping that her spending some time with Soda, it would make her forget what happened with Dallas, but it wasn’t working.
She was sitting in her living room watching a movie with Soda. As they watched the movie Soda could sense that something was wrong with Y/N. “Hey.” Sodapop said. “You okay?” Sodapop asked her. “What?” Y/N asked looking over at him. “You seem like you have something on your mind.” Sodapop said to her. “Yeah, I got a lot on my mind.” Y/N said in a soft tone. “It’s Dallas, isn’t it?” Sodapop said to her.
Y/N knew she shouldn’t lie so she gave him a nod. “You still have feelings for him, don’t you?” Sodapop asked her. “Yes.” Y/N answered as those tears started to fill her eyes. “I’m so sorry.” She said looking at him with sad eyes. “Y/N you don’t have to be sorry. You feel what you feel.” Sodapop told her wiping away the tears that were starting to make their way down her cheeks.
Y/N gave him a nod because she knew he was right. “Friends?” Sodapop asked with a smile. “Friends.” Y/N told him with a small smile.

As the days went by Y/N thought about Dallas and realized she does want to get back together with him. She just doesn’t know if he wants to get back together with her.
Once her dad got home, she decided to go to Buck’s hoping Dallas was there. She knocked on the door and Buck was the one who answered the door. “Hi, is Dallas here?” Y/N asked him in a curious tone. “Yeah, he’s upstairs in his room.” Buck told her letting her inside. “Thank you.” Y/N told him making her way to Dallas’s room. She walked up the steps.
When she got to his door she lightly knocks on the door. When the door opened there stood Dallas. “Can I come in?” Y/N asked him. Dallas answered her with a nod as he let her come in.
“What are you doing here?” Dallas asked her closing the door. “Soda and I broke up a couple of days ago.” Y/N told him. “I know. He told me yesterday.” Dallas told her.
“I want to be with you again.” Y/N told him. “Y/N I-” Dallas started to say but she quickly cut him off. “I know you’re not good when it comes to love but that’s why we found each other.” Y/N told him. She walked closer to him and took one of his hands. “I can help you. I can show you how to love.” Y/N told him with a smile. Dallas lips turned up into a smile.
He leaned down and connected his lips with hers. They kissed for a while till they needed to pull away for air. “I love you, Dally.” Y/N told him with a look of love in her eyes. The look in Dallas’s brown eyes matched hers.
He put his other hand on her cheek and stroked it gently with his thumb. “I love you, too, Y/N.” Dallas told her and connected his lips with hers again.
because of the fact you didn’t specify a reader, I’m just gonna do all my AU’s <3
delicate!reader: they’re siblings, so obviously they’ve known each other since her birth. He’s very overprotective of her, which sort of starts a lot of her problems after their parents died.
caretaker!reader: met her through dallas/johnny, they aren’t close, but he respect how caring she is.
soc!reader: at the drive in! he doesn’t go often, but the one night he does, it just so happens that a pretty girl is sitting in front of them. he isn’t the type to be bold, but when he sees a guy bothering you after you’ve said no, he doesn’t hesitate to step in.
greaser!reader: it just so happens that steve has friends outside the gang! he brings you to the house one night when your parents are fighting, and though you’re standoffish, there’s clearly a special connection between you and darry.
