9 ⧽. tell us about a wip/idea that you're excited about! I've been. sitting on an idea for quite some time for a partial-retelling of umineko episode 5 from [redacted]'s pov where she's taking on [episode 7 redacted] as her persona... i need to. reread episode 5 Badly before i start on it.

13 ⧽. do you have any writing projects/goals/plans you're working on/want to work on? my current writing goal is to get as much of my post-canon beefleaf wip done as i can over my break! and i suppose a sub-goal is that i'm aiming to have this be a longer piece with a sequel, when so far all my published fics are short oneshots.

18 ⧽. how do you want your writing to feel to your readers? i guess the simplest answer is i want it to feel emotionally evocative, but in a way that very much depends on the piece. i like to throw bits of comedy into a lot of things i write and i hope that sticks. with the beefleaf ive been writing lately i really want it to feel fraught, tense, and conflicted, to always have an underside that can be simply melancholic and stricken with grief or to just be straight up uncomfortable and difficult to read.

1)What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

wjat if jolyne from stone ocean was a schizophrenic bunny girl that had prophetic dreams about herself dying for as long as she could remember. <3 not really the original thought but im kind of high and still haven't slept so you will forgive me

10) What is their main character arc in the story? Where do they start and how do they develop? Do they get a happy ending or is their story a tragic one?

her story is ultimately one of learning how to live past an end point that you have resigned yourself to... and i think also allowing herself to form attachments that she had viewed as "off limits". HAPPY ENDING

17) Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way?

stars! fire! mayflies are kind of basic for this kind of character but they're also like... a classic... so maybe mayflies. thats not set in stone. this is such a fun question wtf

10. Their most defining moment vs your favorite one of them

for Kit: his most defining moment was proving to himself that he can be useful to his friends and himself! it's also my favourite moment because i don't know, i feel it made him stronger hehe <3

for Colt: his most defining moment was killing someone who had been cruel to him (this person was not his brother) and while it left him feeling hollow for awhile, he came to realize it's something he is capable of (taking a life); my favourite moment though is him confessing to Kit :") he couldn't keep it to himself any longer and it was clear Kit feels the same way, and there was nothing to be anxious about hehe Lydia lets them have the moment because she was waiting for this for so long LMAOO

18. Are they vengeful or do they easily forgive and forget or do they not forgive but don't go as far as acting on that

for Kit: he will not forgive nor forget but he's a little too passive to want to act on anything like revenge

for Colt: gestures to the previous answer for him. he will never forgive nor forget and given the opportunity, he will act on getting vengeance <3

26. How do their family and their relationship with them influence their perspective and the way they navigate life

for Kit: he was pretty sheltered as a young child because of his father (noble family); but it didn't skew the way he saw life or anything. he is a little ignorant in some regards but nothing... offensive? he understands why some people (ie Colt) act the way they do and finds he wants to support them rather than him try to change their own perspective, if that makes sense?

for Colt: after his father died, all he had was Rye (his brother) and even then he didn't HAVE Rye. their father had Colt on a pedestal for certain reasons, and it made Colt kind of uncomfortable. Rye continued to use Colt for his own gain but not in the same way their father had used Colt. anyway, all of this does mess him up in ways and he begs to continue to be used, even by his own friends <3 does that make sense sorry. Colt doesn't have a healthy outlook on life, basically, though at first he pushes all of this down
