Headcanon #2: So are Homer, Horace, Ovid, and Lucan.
I’ve had to turn down the brightness of my phone due to how much dimmer it is down here. There’s some light, but it’s faint. I wonder how I’m going to see if it gets any darker than this. Maybe use my phone as a flashlight? My battery isn’t going to last that long ...
Anyways, back to my original point, I got to meet some of the greatest poets and thinkers from the time before Christ. Virgil explained that their actions, though unfounded in Christianity, were good enough for God to pardon them the punishments of Hell.
I was honored to find myself welcomed into their company, and longed to stay a while if it wasn’t for Virgil.
