This weekend Warner Bros. is relaunching the DCU, and judging from this still it looks like they’re not taking any chances, adding these legendary A-listers, Bugs Bunny as Super Rabbit and Daffy Duck as the Green Loontern. But seriously folks, see James Gunn’s “Superman.”

With the TV show, "Duck Dodgers" also being 20 years old, I feel like Daffy as Green Loontern could also be a good DLC character to include in a future update, or as I stated previously, a Looney Tunes/DC Comics DLC pack. Basically, it would be Duck Dodgers, but with Green Lantern's abilities.

You may have discussed this before... but how did Daffy Duck as Green Lantern come to be your avatar? Where did you first find that image?

Many moons ago, in the early ‘00s, there was a series based on the old Duck Dodgers skits from Looney Tunes, except full length. In one episode, Duck Dodgers finds himself in possession of Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern ring. Hijinx ensued (Jordan himself was voiced by Kevin Smith). My avatar, which has been my avatar of choice on various platforms since 2004, is taken from a promotional image for that episode that my step-father found.

Something Green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers, as the Green Lantern. Accidentally acquiring the suit and ring, our hero metes out justice to an unsuspecting public before being summoned to help the Green Lantern Corps fight Sinestro.
