Ooh, maybe 26 and/or 27 and/or 28 for the Greenwarden crew? IFs are truly amazing because playing the MC different ways could let you see all of these. Authors of IFs are the real ones because you write a story that is actually a hundred different stories. Noice.
26 - Interactions with their friends
27 - Interactions with their enemies
28 - Interaction with their lovers
Bautista: Friends and enemies kind of get the same cold stoic treatment-- hence why it's so hard for the Tracker to believe that Bautista honestly and wholeheartedly considers them their best friend. Friends and lovers are more likely to get nagged, as seen in-game, while enemies are just allowed to self-destruct, because fuck 'em. Bautista doesn't have time to babysit if they don't like you. Bautista's also a clingy lover and prone to catastrophizing over people they care about.
Nazeri: Much like Bautista, Nazeri -- while not quite as clingy -- is prone to nagging and fussing and "you'll get cold sweetie"-ing. They're the grandma to Bautista's grandpa, in a way. Unlike Bautista, Nazeri has a deep-seated need to be liked by literally everyone, and so they put on masks to be as appealing as possible to the widest audience. Those that genuinely dislike them are Spiders Georges, surely, and they definitely don't put people off with being two-faced, absolutely not. They tend to hyperfocus on people that actively do not want anything to do with them and see them as a challenge to be overcome, rather than just like. Toning it down a little. See: their weird Thing with the Tracker.
Devin: If they don't like you, you will know, because they'll make your life completely miserable. They hold some considerable sway in Warden, and are prone to power trips. It brings out the worst aspects of their personality and certain traumas I can't mention because they're spoilers. That being said, Devin is a fast and loyal friend and lover who might be the biggest realist out of the core four. They're great at bringing people down/away from emotional cliffs. They're also a hardcore ride-or-die. Lovers get absolutely spoiled, but need to get approval from Marisol the budgie before Devin even considers dating, which is harder than it seems.
Trace: If they don't like you they'll just eat you. Straight up. And they'll make it hurt, is the worst part; sort of like how wolves eat elk alive, but with the express purpose of drawn-out suffering. People Trace don't like don't last very long. Neither do people they like, really, which is where most of their favorite shells come from. Consumption and attraction go hand-in-hand for Trace, and despite being closer to human than Anomaly at the moment, that never truly goes away. They're clingy in a physical way; where Bautista and Nazeri are emotional clingers, Trace wants to climb inside your skin and live there with you. Constant physical contact is their bread and butter with both friends and lovers.
