Would Moxie Mallahan (All the Wrong Questions) have a Kit Kittredge doll?
Yes!
Maybe?
Nah
Margaret Mildred “Kit” Kittredge is loud, bold, and ready for action! She has dreams of being a reporter and seeing the world, but her life turns upside down when the 1934 Great Depression comes to her hometown of Cincinatti, Ohio. With her father traveling to find work, her mother has to take in boarders, and she has to be more resourceful and responsible. But still, she’s not giving up her dreams that easily!
Kit was first released in 2000.
Propaganda: They're literally the same character. Intrepid reporters in an economic depression with one parent missing with short blonde hair and an epic typewriter.
I feel like all the Lemony Snicket characters are a little bit Kit coded but Moxie specifically is just… Literally Her
Why is nobody talking about the fact that there might be a lemony snicket musical in production

finally reading kavalier and clay and i feel like im being tormented by the fact that there's a chris samnee illustrated version of this out there and it's fucking $200+ secondhand with zero trace of it on the internet beyond a few promo spreads. i'm dying
Kitty, Lockheed, Illyana, Scott. (If you want you can give me more characters to draw!)
One of the benefits of watching psych (2006) is that in most shows with a weird protagonist you find yourself asking why are you like this but in psych you don't do that because you just saw. You just saw 10 minutes ago at the start of the episode when Henry was putting him in a trunk
Lemony Snicket’s “About the Author” pages
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay was, somehow, a fun night at the opera—just not one that felt specifically operatic.
I reviewed Mason Bates’ new operatic adaptation of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, an opera that was not good, did not seem to hold any relationship to operatic form, and also made me laugh and smile a bunch
I finished Rebecca’s pink Labor Day dress over the weekend. It appears in the interior illustration (my favorite Rebecca illustration ever) and on the cover of Changes for Rebecca. I used a Keepers’ Dolly Duds pattern for the bodice, sleeves, and skirt, and then winged it for the rest. I sewed on five extremely tiny buttons, and did all the embroidery by hand, which was a lot of fun.
If Helly and Helena reintegrate will Helena get wokified or will Helly get red-pilled?

Why Tracy Bacon Should Stay Dead
This post is essentially me making a case for Tracy Bacon’s fate as it is in the book. I’ve seen his death referred to as a case of Bury Your Gays, but it was a meaningful death that ties into the symbolism and themes of the entire book. If Tracy Bacon had lived, the book would have been weaker.
(Also, this literally can’t be Bury Your Gays. Bury Your Gays is a trope in which gay characters are treated as more expendable than straight ones. Many people die in this book, and Tracy’s the only gay one.)
Under a readmore because this got long:
