So today is an extremely hard day for more than a few of us. Many of us woke up to the news of one of the most kind hearted and giving souls passing away. If anyone knows me they know I’m a huge power rangers fan. Have been since the first episode aired and still watch to this day. Well many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting my favorite power ranger Jason David Frank. And he was just something else. His personality and his flair and his presence was extraordinary. His heart was one of the biggest and most loving I have seen. He never left a fan unhappy. I have seen him stay hours and hours after shows closed and just giving away so much free stuff. To him his signature was just that. He didn’t view it as a monetary thing, he viewed it as leaving a lasting memory. Jdf was there when I started my weight loss journey and saw me many times after. He would also ask about my progress and take time to chat. He would find a way to always check in somehow on my progress. He was truly truly one of a kind. I just last saw him at Ricc 2022 and it was like no time had passed. Whenever he came in for one of our events I tried to catch up. No matter the event big or small he just gave and have so much to his fans and even the places he was signing at. This world is truly a much sadder place without your beautiful light shining in it. So many will mourn and miss you and take those moments you shared to last a lifetime. Your legacy will go on in all of us. And no matter who you are or what you are going through you are not alone. Sometimes we hold the world on our shoulders for way too long. Put smiles and send words of strength to others while falling on one knee. Sometimes we reach out to those we care about but when we don’t hear from them, it’s just us looking in the mirror going through our strengths and weaknesses, our successes and failures, our desire for love and heart breaks, our flaws and our mistakes, our self worth. We question wether we are worthy for love or deserve our solitude, we fall for lust when we give up on love, we slowly choke our hopes in depression and face our path to the next world. To everyone who feels this way, you are loved, you are in our prayers, let us carry the weight with you, we do care.
