A few snapshots from an evening walk around the over 650 year old history fishermen’s village Greetsiel. Always worth a little stroll.

Another ex of mine. I rode this 2004 Buell XB 12 R from 2015 to 2017. We had a lot of funny and a couple of realy scary moments. No ABS, no ESP, no ASR, no comfort, no anything but fun✌😄👍
Imagine you are on a german Autobahn, riding 230Km per hour fast and a truck (90 Kmh) turns into your line. You start an emergency break.... so far so good but because of the short wheelbase, your rear wheel lifts up. Remember, i wrote this happened at 230Kmh. You could not open the break because the truck was in front of you, on your line. This was one of the scary moments i shared with the Buell and i am pretty sure it was one of the fastest and longest stoppies on a german Autobahn ever 😅
The reason why i sold the Buell was the fact, that i use to ride defensive, enjoying the landscapes and NOT go fast at 99,9% of the times. The seating position and the heavy clutch killed me when it came to longer one day turns. I shot this picture at Greetsiel, at the german coast. It was a 350Km one day turn....and my butt killed me for a week after that
