This one might dethrone Sneak Me in Your Closet from the size/height difference alone...
As soon as I was informed Straight Until He Kissed Me was available I ran over to the GoodShort drama app to watch Evan Gambardella and Greg Duffy in this hilarious story. It was quirky, heart warming, and fascinating. I was drawn in from the very first kiss and enjoyed watching Miles and Hunter grow closer through every blunder. I loved the central message of gender should not prevent you from falling in love. I was not sure how I would feel about another Bl vertical where the main protagonist was insistent that he wasn’t gay, but Evan really had me hooked from the moment he entered the story. Greg is a new comer to the Bl vertical universe and he did not disappoint. His character made me want to pull my hair out at times but he genuinely had a deep love for Miles. My only complaint was Kate. I just don’t understand why we need an evil female character to make a worth whole Bl drama. 10/10

Ok does anyone else watch, or at least encounter ads for, vertical dramas? The ones on apps like MyDrama and ReelShort, that are really over-dramatic, with lots of romance trope plots like mafia arranged marriages and such?
Because the Heated Rivalry knockoffs in that world are wild right now.
"Bound to My Hot Rival" is a new one on DramaPops about rival boxers who bang. One is a North American named Shane and the other is a Russian guy with curly hair wearing a gold necklace (played by an American actor, so the accent and backstory were definitely deliberate).
And well, just look at the typeface and red/purple lighting on the ad...
There's also one on DramaWave, Drive Him Wild, where a star hockey player (white guy) falls in love with his team doctor (Asian guy), and it definitely feels like a HR AU. The promo has lots of "heated" and similar phrases thrown in.
Both these verticals have actors who are big-ish names in the world of m/m verticals so I expect this is a winning formula for the verticals studios.
Older doodle of those freaks from that reelshort
they acknowledge the height difference yes!!
