LEMMY BIOPIC IN THE WORKS: If all goes according to plan, a self-titled biopic on late Motörhead frontman Lemmy could begin production in 2021, according to published reports.
“Everything you’ve heard about Lemmy is probably true,” director Greg Olliver told The Hollywood Reporter. “Marlboro Reds and Jack Daniel’s for breakfast, speed for dinner - all true. But behind that steely-eyed façade of rock ‘n’ roll was also a compelling, complicated and lion-hearted man who stayed the course and never gave up playing the music that made him happy.
PUT ON A FUCKING MASK: Bruce Springsteen has a message for Donald Trump, which he delivered on his SiriusXM radio show this week:
"I’m going to start out by sending one to the man sitting behind the desk,” Springsteen said. “With all respect, sir, show some consideration for your countrymen. Put on a fucking mask."
Nils Lofgren echoed this on Twitter.
“I’ve been around enough. I can honestly say I don’t think I have ever heard my dear friend ... say ‘fuck,’” he wrote. “Perfect timing. Put a fucking mask on (Trump).”
JESSE GRESS MAY HAVE LUNG TRANSPLANT: Ailing guitarist Jesse Gress, a longtime member of Todd Rundgren’s band, is beginning the process of getting on the lung-transplant list, his wife, Mary Lou Arnold, said on Facebook.
“We are more than hopeful,” she wrote ”Jesse is strong and strong willed. We are lifted up by the love and help from so many friends and family.”
