Elton John's 24th studio album was released on 20 March 1995.

Co-produced by John and Greg Penny, it was the first album since Leather Jackets (1986) to not be produced by Chris Thomas.

Made in England included the hit single "Believe," which peaked at #13 in the US Billboard Hot 100 (it was #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart), and the album also peaked at #13, selling nearly 3.5 million copies worldwide.

Here’s k.d. lang’s “Miss Chatelaine (St. Tropez Mix)” from makeover, a new collection of classic dance remixes of some of her best-loved songs, due May 28 on Nonesuch Records. The remix was produced by Greg Penny in 1992; the video is by Rocky Schenck. The original version of “Miss Chatelaine” is from lang’s double platinum album Ingénue, which was released 29 years ago today!
