4. Which of Shadowheart’s personality traits are you drawn to the most? I think for me I find her lack of confidence and skill in the life she finds herself in and the joy she takes in experiencing something new the most relatable. From a writing standpoint, I find her internal conflict as far as her shaky faith and her very obvious desire to make people's lives better vs the loss that is central to her religion very interesting to explore. Ultimately her fears snd pushing past them are the things I find most compelling in either direction tbh.
9. Do you have any Shadowheart WIPs? Can you share a teaser paragraph? I do have a WIP! I'll link it below. It's a Western AU with Shadowheart and Lae’zel to be the central romantic pairing although at this point it's not there yet because Lae’zel is the town sheriff and Shadowheart is a Sharran bandit.
As far as a teaser paragraph, everything I've written for it so far has been posted because I'm a post after writing type person. But here's a paragraph from Chapter 2.
The figure’s jaw tightened and they blinked angrily, dark eyes looking in many directions in empty hope of rescue before their right hand relaxed and they flicked the handle of the knife as far as they could manage. Lae’zel immediately changed her grip on the wrist and brought it to the other one behind the back and held both in one hand before seizing the knife and flinging it away.
“Hey, that was expensive!” The figure protested.
“That is the price to be paid for attempting to murder a public servant with it.” Lae’zel responded, pulling a hank of rope from her belt pouch and tying up the figure’s hands with it. She stood up and lifted the person by their tied wrists into a standing position before making sure they had no concealed knives within reach, then turned them around.
The figure was a young half-elf woman. She had a bandanna hanging from her neck, a shabby stetson on her head, and ragged leathers with the distinctive purple woolen tunic of a Sharran underneath.
Aka right after Shadowheart’s introduction to the narrative. You'll have to read to see what manner of use that knife gets. :) Hope you enjoy if you decide to check it out!!

The name's Grena. European. She/her and bisexual gayer than I intended. I can legally drink in every country in the world (unless alcohol is illegal there lol), so I'm a 21+ adult.

🌫 Fog - What was the hardest part of your WIP to write?
My current wips I always find dialogue hardest and getting word choices right and also making sure the characters sound accurate to who they are, I always spend the most time on dialogue.
💧Rain - What's the most emotional scene you've ever written?
For Pale Shadow it's the bit at the end of chapter 5, the promise shadowzel make to each other, that felt very poignant for me 🥹
