I really start to enjoy prideshipping because I see them as a perfect example of a grey-specrum ship. (Both romantically and sexually)

They have a different form of communication and showing affection while being absolutely obsessed with each other (especially Kaiba).

Their relationship doesn't fit into a box and thats so lovely.

I may not be the best ally for aro, ace n ppl on the grey spectrum, but I'll damn well try.

I may be shipping all characters all the time, but if someone says a character or they are ace, I'll keep all headcannons to myself and try my best to be respectful.

I may have been rude or weird to my ace, aro n greyspec friends in the past, but I'll try my best to apologize where I can and unlearn things.

I'll take accountability even if I don't understand their identity completely. I don't need to understand. I just need to respect them, I just need to try to do better.

Identities can be very confusing, but they do not actively harm me.

All ace, aro n greyspec people are queer and I am here to support them in any way I can. I stand with you guys. You deserve more respect and less erasure.

Part of why Jiang Cheng makes such an interesting asexual/aromantic character is that ace/aro people are too often shown to be almost detached from emotions and only into science and technology stuff. Like they're fleshy robots.

But you know Jiang Cheng isn't like that. Every pore oozes his want and need for people in his life, people who love him and choose him. He wants so badly to have emotional connections, even if he's not good at them (which is a separate thing to his ace aspect imo).

If Jiang Yanli had stayed in LP with her husband and filled it with babies Jiang Cheng would have been the happiest man.

If Wei Wuxian had stayed and Lan Wangji joined him, he would have been happy.

But he ends up with none of that. He wants love so badly but he can't get it because of circumstances, his choices (forced or otherwise), or the fact that people don't prioritise non-sexual, non-romantic love as much as their counterparts. -I was gonna say except JYL and WWX but then reconsidered.

It's the kind of life experience that many, many grey spectrum people have to one degree or another and I think, even if you think JC is to blame for his bad attitude driving people away as much as circumstances, it's too painfully easy to see a part of yourself in his loneliness.

Could you possibly make a gray-spec flag pretty please? I was thinking it could have a stripe of gray, a dark gray stripe, and a light gray stripe (to represent those who are in between, those closer to allo, and those closer to a-) and the anattractional spectrum flag colors (the pink, yellow, orange, blue, green, and purple to represent different attractions). I'd make it but I don't have the abilities. Thank you in advance

Being aroace with a strong libido is hella annoying. Don't get me wrong, it's okay and nice to give your body some care and me-time occasionally. But for me it feels like I'm a vegan who has to feed a gluttonous carnivore pet.
