sometimes i just feel like i'm too uninformed for discourse. can't even give you a source for an argument. too exhausting to even write a paragraph. it feels like i just will never get out the right words to explain it. like i'm just too disabled to even have a conversation with you. aren't you tired of it? i'm tired. i don't even know anything. can't that be enough?
Hey... nonbinary folks.. i love you. Giving a little smooch on each of your foreheads as if you were a cat. Thank you.
Happy pride! remember to read more yuri!!!!
Hey guys, I think some of you should learn that it's okay to hate, dislike, disagree with and even not want to speak to individual people in your life, who have acted consistently harmful to you. And it's important to keep that in mind, when people say that it's not okay to generalize, stereotype or stigmatize a whole community of people.
Because it will always be okay to feel betrayed, to feel awful when mistreated, to walk away from somebody that hurt you. It's okay to have those emotions and act accordingly to protect yourself.
I personally do not get along with many neurodivergent people, and I explicitly don't make friends in trauma communities, because I know I'm going to get triggered or I'm accidentally going to trigger someone else.
But despite this, despite my misgivings, grievances and personal issues with people. I still push against using harmful terminology (psychotic, narcissistic, delusional, delulu, slurs, etc.), and I still advocate for disabled rights, and the inclusion of disabled or mentally ill people in these spaces.
I could have, and you could have, a terrible experience with other people. But you should not exclude, mistreat or discriminate against others based on their disability, mental illness or otherwise. You should still advocate for consent, autonomy and rights for all people. You should still understand you shouldn't generalize someone based on their disorder or disability. You should still be fighting for all of us and promote unity.
So no matter what, it's okay if you don't like someone with xyz disorder, it doesn't make you a bad person. But please, PLEASE, don't treat everyone with xyz disorder like a bad person, just because one person hurt you. Thank you. Always try to respect others you don't know, your treatment is their first impression of you, as well.
i'll never get people who are anti-self diagnosis as if I dont see myself having problems. Like do y'all just think this shit is normal? I've never felt normal once in my life. Like oh, memory problems? I don't think that's normal. Oh, my body shuts down when I get stressed? Not normal. Oh, I am screaming and crying then two minutes later I am absolutely not doing any of that anymore? That's not weird to you guys??? YOU DON'T THINK ANY OF THAT IS WEIRD???
Makes me wonder what level of self-awareness other people actually have if they don't see something off and concerning about all that?
im finally on desktop and tumblr is fucking evil for this because i LITERALLY look in the reblogs with comment every fucking time for the image descriptions of posts for my followers. I don't need them, but i try my best to find them for my followers, YOU ARE LITERALLY MAKING TUMBLR A HELLSCAPE @staff WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?????
I don't know who needs to hear this, but it's really none of your business what hobbies someone chooses to engage in, like anything weird or taboo, or anything really, like we shouldn't be expecting people expose their entire lives for you to judge online, just so they can be in the in-group with you.
Social credibility is bullshit anyway, I'd rather be friends with someone who has a weird hobby, than be friends with someone I have to walk on eggshells around.
So you need to hear that it's okay to be weird and it's okay for others to be weird, and something uncomfortable isn't a moral failing on their part.
The more you judge others, the more of a bully you actually are.
