The Party: (goes to stake out diamond)

Maeve: (faints & coughs up blood)

Mask: (faints & has a fake seizure)

Marion: (gets hit with a poison dart and is arrested)

Nathair: (pretends to be royalty poorly and is thrown out)

Azra: (reveals that he's royalty)

Benjo: (actually finds the gem)

Greyanna: (is rescued from the chaos by two disturbed bystanders)

DM: You were supposed to be subtle

Nathair, to Azra: Weren't you in a group with Mask (our mastermind rogue)?

Greyanna: He's probably being a little bitch.

Mask: (from the rafters) Rude.

Nathair: Hey Grey can you get us drugs?

Greyanna, our drow: People like you are the reason I can't freely walk the streets!

End of Mini Campaign

Our steampunk evil campaign has ended. I have a few more things I can post, but regular posts should continue in about a week when our new long campaign starts up. So let’s some up the end of this.

Mask, our mastermind rogue reveals he is actually a warlock to part of the party after the evil guild boss reveals he’s his real father and the queen is his mother and asks him to work with him to summon the Queen of Air and Darkness.

This betrayal led to the guild master calling in Greyanna, who was revealed to be a cleric of the Queen of Air and Darkness and Nathair, who’s patron revealed that she was also the queen inhabiting the angel’s body for help.

This all culminates in an in party fight in the church. Black fire burns everything down except for an encased angel body.

Marion gets Mask, Maeve, Azra, and Benjo to meet her at the docs. She reveals King Oberon told her that Mask could stop the destruction. Maeve says her husband warned her of a similar thing. Mask says his patron told him to throw a ring in to this resurrection. Meanwhile, Greyanna and Nathair pray for reinforcements.

Acting quickly, Marion’s team runs back to the now completely charred temple where the ange body was held and they begin the resurrection ritual. As they do this, a slew of beasts attack them. (Reinforcments) But the gang is still manage to throw the ring in and stop the resurrection. However, Mask’s patrons step out of the singular body. The two reveal they were the guild masters dead sibling who used to share a body. And the male one, Leo, tells Azra he’s his father. The patrons turned gods help Mask kill the queen (who they had weakened earlier) and secure him the kingdom. Maeve becomes and advisor. Azra becomes the captain of the guard and Benjo leaves with his lesbian pirate mothers. Meanwhile Grey and Nathair retreat to the Underdark to raise an army to take back what they lost.

Marion erases her memory again hoping she’ll forget this life and the fact she let a god control her. She doesn’t know where she’ll end up or what will happen, but she let herself be puppeteered, and she won’t let happen again.
