Grian's wings headcanon

I jave seen many depictions of grians wings and how they function so I thought I would share my idea. (It is probably not original)

So first off, the wings aren't always showing like other hermits elytra designs. They may be kept out more often then other hermits but they are put away alot when not in use. ( unlike most hermits where wings are something added on, Grian's wings are there originally there then hidden)

Secondly, the type of wing changes based on the season or setting. Season 6 (I think) is when they would be parrot wings and so on. Currently in season 10 I think they are some type of gull or sea bord. I personally like seagull because they are the true pesky bird. The wings at a base stage are white.

My idea that connects this to lore is that Grian had 3 sets of wings as a watcher and when he escaped and went to hermit craft, he lost the 3 sets of purple tinted watcher wings, and only had 1 set of white wings.

I like to think that his wings are always out during the life series as he is closer to the watchers and what not so he can't hide them. (I mostly just think it looks really cool)

I go back and forward between ear wings and bird feet, but I usually just imagine wings with nothing else.

These are just my thouaght, I love all of the many ideas the Fandom has, there are some really pretty, cute, and creative ideas that are quite different and I think that is what makes the Fandom so awsome.

So I am bored! And I decided to use a prompt from The Minecraft prompter thing as far as I know you can find it on the wonderful Pen-core and maraca’s blog @petrichormeraki I will be using the prompt wings with maracas big brother AU!  and yes I know there are typos I didn’t really edit them out because this is a quick story. Please enjoy this quick little story!

One, One baby unknowingly released a volt of secrets. Two, two small wings, was the reason for him to talk about his peoples pain and suffering. Three, three long years of him watching his child grow up happy and free. Four, four more years until cleo discovered away to get his wings back. Five, Five months of testing and experimenting. Six, Six and 1/2 months of waiting for the wings to develop.

Eight, eight testing, to make sure that they were natural at least as much as they could get them. Nine, nine reassurances that this was real, that, he could fly again, he was complete again.  ten, ten seconds I’ve holding his breath, because he was complete, his family was with him, he couldn’t see through his happy tears that his husband tried furiously to wipe away though he was crying as well.

But again there was one, One who is no longer a baby, one that was now a man. Grian smiled back at his friends and family, still crying he grabs Juni’s  hands. Grian unfurled his Silver speckled lilac wings, Junie unfurled his red speckled black wings. As Black teary-eyed Met red glittering eyes there was two,  two people gracefully flying one was rusty but the other slowed himself to help. Three, Thee Long hours of aerial maneuvers, barrel rolls and tag. Four, a Family of four hugging and talking happily.

 and there is no number to describe how A fallen Bird feels when they are able to fly free, Ssafe and happy. There could never be words to describe how the fallen king felt when he flew again.
