#12daysofcasca Prompt: Doll

Makeup time~

A young Casca and Griffith getting "dolled up" and playing with cosmetics together ^ ^ There is a full headcanon to this, which I will put below ♡

When Griffith was little, he found himself curiously watching the "ladies of the night” reapplying their lip tint outside of taverns. Eventually, one day, he asked them what it was. The child was promptly told to "get lost", but years later while picking through goods the small band had 'acquired' from a nobleman's carriage, he found an ornately painted cockleshell compact with lip rouge tucked into gift wrapping. He took it with him, and late one night curiosity got the better of him, and he tried putting it on.

It became a routine for him, and when Casca joined the band, he taught her about cosmetics as a way to bond and help her feel less out of place in the mercenary group. Casca is enamored by how pretty the angelic boy Griffith is and is giddy to learn from him. As the years roll on, whenever they can procure new shades and tints, they will try them out together.
