i think more people need to talk about how royally fucked over arts programs get in schools
i have only been in high school 2 years. they have fucked over the arts department a million times. they fucked up BIG TIME. TWICE. IN ONE FUCKING SUMMER.
its frustrating because it feels like this is a problem only band/theatre/chorus kids and their parents see and care about
Girls backs? Their hair and neck? They shoulders? Their waists and thighs and bellies? Fucking amazing, I love women so fucking much good GOD I wanna just feel a woman’s skin under my finger tips and kiss her till we can’t breathe fuck fuck fuck women are so amazing
*remembers the time I went to that little mini LEGO Land place in Toronto as a kid back before my hyperfixation when I wasn’t able to fully appreciate it*
Fun thought I just had and spent way too long typing out:
Master Wu is the Jesus of Ninjago
Allow me to elaborate (⚠️Potential??? spoilers for up to the end of season 9 below the cut⚠️)
(Note: Im saying all of this as someone who grew up going to/still goes to a catholic school, and occasionally is required to go to church with family. I don’t actively practice religion, so if I state something about god as a fact I am saying that within the realm of the catholic canon, not stating my beliefs about our world. Also, uh, my information might not be 100% accurate)
First off, The First Elemental Master created the entire realm of Ninjago. Boom, God. Sure, he’s not immortal, but according to my sources (aka the first page of the Google search results) a god doesn’t need to be immortal to be a god. Thus, The First Elemental Master = A God.
Now let’s talk about Wu. He’s literally the son of the creator of Ninjago. Jesus? The son of the creator of our world. He received abilities from his father that the rest of the people in Ninjago did not possess, that Wu would go on to use to help and protect people. Jesus was said to have the ability to perform miracles, which he used to help people (healing the sick, giving a blind man sight, etc.). Both were given abilities by their fathers (the Creators) that were used to help others.
Lastly, disciples. Jesus sought out and brought together a group of young men/boys, with whom he shared many teachings about his father and about how the people of earth should live. He told stories, both real and metaphorical, to them, and encouraged them to spread their knowledge to others. Master Wu also sought out a group of boys, and shared with them many lessons and stories, both real and metaphorical, as well as teaching them the art of spin-jitsu. Though his teachings were not spread in the same way as Jesus’, the art of spin-jitsu was passed down between ninja, and there were even variations of it created by other ninja.
I’m not going to go into detail about the similarities I see between Lloyd and Doubting Thomas, because I don’t know enough about the latter’s story to be confident in writing about it, but I wanted to add that on to the end in case anyone else happens to know more.
OH MY GOD I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THE WHOLE COMING BACK FROM THE DEAD THING. BABY WU. NEED I SAY MORE?
TL;DR: Master Wu and Jesus are both the sons of their respective worlds’ creators, were gifted special abilities that they used to help the people around them, and sought out a group of young men as followers/disciples to whom they gave many teachings and stories about their father and how to live their lives.
That is all. If you read all of this, I am genuinely confused but also glad that someone else took interest in my thoughts??? So, thank you. Goodbye to all you guys, gals, and nonbinary pals. May the force be with you, and with your spirit. *tips hat*
I just got asked out by a customer - whilst I’m over-joyed that I’ve been recognised as a lesbian - I’m sorry to say I have not gotten any better at politely and causally rejecting people...
