A delightful pizza featuring the earthy flavors of roasted cauliflower, creamy ricotta cheese, and a hint of garlic, all on a perfectly crispy crust. This Roasted Cauliflower & Ricotta Grandma Pie is a savory delight that's easy to make and even easier to enjoy.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1 cup roasted cauliflower florets. 1/2 cup ricotta cheese. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Red pepper flakes optional. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C and put a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to heat up. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Place the dough that has been rolled out on a sheet of parchment paper. Put the chopped garlic and olive oil in a small bowl and mix them together. Spread this mixture out on the pizza dough in a thin layer. Remove some of the dough's edge so that the crust can fit around the ricotta cheese. Spread the roasted cauliflower florets out evenly on top of the ricotta cheese. On top of the cauliflower, put the shredded mozzarella cheese. To taste, add dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the pizza. If you want it hot, add red pepper flakes. Carefully move the pizza from the parchment paper to a pizza stone or baking sheet that has already been heated in the oven. Put it in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. It's time to add the fresh basil leaves to the pizza. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for a minute. Roasted Cauliflower and Ricotta Grandma Pie is ready to be served!
