Combine the classic flavors of a hot dog with a juicy hamburger for a mouthwatering twist on a traditional burger. Perfect for your next cookout or barbecue!
Ingredients: 4 hamburger patties. 4 hot dog buns. 4 beef hot dogs. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup diced pickles. 1/4 cup yellow mustard. 1/4 cup ketchup. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Add salt and pepper to the hamburger patties to taste. Grill the burger patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them. The hot dogs should be cooked on the grill for about 34 minutes, or until they are hot all the way through and have grill marks. Place the hot dog buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown. Put a hamburger patty on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers. Put a grilled hot dog on top of each patty. Put some chopped cheddar cheese on top of the hot dogs. Put tomato slices, onion slices, and pickle slices on top of the cheese. Spread ketchup and yellow mustard on top of the toppings. Use the top half of the buns to close the burgers. Enjoy your Hot Dog Burger while it's still hot!
