I feel like he would be confused. Obviously, he knows you don't always wear the same clothes all the time, but seeing it for the first time is something different entirely.

Say he comes to your place well after work to share a breakthrough on your most current case. He could've called you, but he wanted to talk to you in person. You've long since settled in for the night, changing into a tank top and pajama shorts (AC is expensive, okay?) He's pounding on your door, so excited to share this development with you, but when you open the door, he just kinda...stops. His expression shifts as his eyes briefly run over your body.

He knows it's rude to stare, but it's just so jarring. Rarely do you wear anything that shows skin, let alone shorts. Maybe (for those that it applies) your bra straps are showing. Nothing lewd, just you in something comfortable. And now he's having an awakening. Maybe this is the turning point when he realizes that maaaaybe he likes you a little more than he originally thought.

You'd snap him out of it with a sharp "What?" clearly a little annoyed that he showed up at your home unannounced. It has nothing to do with your crush coworker is standing at your door while you're in your PJ's, hair messy, and all professionalism out the window.

He would blush fiercely, apologizing profusely for the intrusion. Suddenly, he doesn't really care about the case. His attention is turned to your body, your curves, your muscles, your scars, your freckles, any detail he can see. An insatiable curiosity blooms in his mind. The human body is not something he is familiar with, but he finds that yours is the most beautiful he's ever seen.

Something that surprises him is that he wants to touch you. Not in a sexual way, just to understand the way it works, feel your skin as it stretches over bone and muscle. It's so drastically different than his own anatomy, and it enraptures him. Once in a relationship, you'd let him. His favorite place is your clavicle. He'd trace the structure up and down with a feather light touch, commenting about the bone density and its functions. And he would want to kiss you. Allllll over. He loves your body, the way it feels, the way it looks, the way that it is you.

Closing thoughts, I think he would be a fiend for thigh jiggle. It's just so human. He would never admit this out loud, but you pick up on it over time. If you called him out on it, he would firmly deny it. No, no. He was doing a gait analysis. Did you know you short-step by .5 inches on your left foot? No? Well you do.

The computer sticks might know he's not a cursor if they can see through the screen like in canon, but the idea is still funny.

If Purple and Mango never actually met him but saw his afk cursor once and got told "that's Alan" then they might think that they're looking for a pet cursor. And not realize that Alan is a human and their dad basically.

They get informed later though. The sticks might want to stay with the two a bit while waiting for Alan to come back.

admittedly the reason i said that there might be some cursor confusion is because i thought it would be funny if most sticks just thought they were looking for a lost pet cursor SKSHDH

also i'm. honestly still deciding on if Alan would let himself be visible through the screen.. in my stuff, there's this thing called Stick Settings that computers with sticks have on them.. and it's basically like. the permissions sticks are allowed, and also a sort of. sliding bar that changes how visible the user is to the sticks– from the screen appearing like just another wall of the desktop, to there being like... a silhouette of the user (or like. something like a vtuber model), or the user as they really are...

i actually have an old image of if MT and Purple were to go onto ALANSPC. and. well.

no idea if i ever posted it but. MT only knows of cursors that live in the outernet, while Purple is. well. they had a religious awakening while on their computer. crawled into the webcam and. well. :/

He is literally the squish.

I love and am a big supporter of Connor being a dutz when it comes to those kinds of gestures. Flirting with him is hilarious early on because he just does. not. get it. You literally have to take his face in your hands and straight up tell him 'I want to go on a date with you' AND THEN FINALLY it would click. Hindsight is 20/20.

Your first hug would be completely platonic. Just a friend hugging a friend goodbye. But to Connor it means everything. Physical contact doesn't come naturally to him, so he struggles to reciprocate for a while. Nine times out of ten, he freezes in place. It's not that he doesn't want to reciprocate. It's that he genuinely doesn't know how. There's no programming to tell him how to respond to your kind, gentle touches. Touches that feel like more than just the touch of a friend.

THAT makes him incredibly nervous. Because he has no idea how to broach these feelings. He can't talk to you about it. That would surely make you think less of him (silly boy). So, he tentatively tries to reciprocate, mirroring your small affections the best he can.

When you hold his hand the first time, he thinks he might shut down from the absolute surge of data he receives. It's something simple. You grab his hand to get his attention to show him something. Or to drag him over to something. He finds the contact pleasant, the way your soft hand cradles his stiffer plastic one.

One HC I have for Connor is that he is terrible at communicating things that he wants/likes, especially in this context. It's a bit of a trauma response, his mind still stuck on the fact that he is a machine with no needs or wants. Therefore, he is also TERRIBLE at initiating things.

Your first kiss? You kiss him on the cheek. You watch his LED flash red as he stares at you like a deer in the headlights. He's so caught up in his own processes that he mises your next question.

He asks you to repeat yourself. That's when you know you got him REAL good, so you ask again: "Can I kiss you?"

His eyes go wide and he just... stares at you, eyes flicking back and forth from your eyes to your lips before finally giving you a very hesitant nod. Again, he goes ramrod stiff under your affection. So much so that you step away, assuming that he was uncomfortable.

You apologize and move to give him space, but he grabs your wrist, bringing you back to him. He says nothing. His expression looks mildly frightened, LED flashing over and over. All he can offer is a small 'don't leave' as he swims through this new torrent of feelings.

TLDR: Connor is a silly idiot when it comes to first times for pretty much everything and needs his hand held through pretty much all of it (literally)

How do you think connor would feel about mens "locker room talk" and how normalized it is? I dont think hank would partake but Gavin definitely would.

I dont think he'd find much interest in this kind of talk

He would find it incredibly disrespectful under any circumstance. He would def make some passive aggressive comment to get everyone to shut the hell up. He would ask Hank about it, asking why they would talk about a fellow human in such a degrading way. And Hank would sigh and tell him that a lot of men are only after one thing.

If he heard something about his partner before they were dating, he would still swoop to their defense, telling the men that their actions were reportable. Obviously, this would earn him the title of snitch, but he doesn't care.

Now if you were actively dating? Oh boy. Different story entirely. (Let's bully Gavin for this one) He's pushing him against the lockers, getting right up in his face. He talks low and quiet, daring him to speak another word. And Gavin, faced with a side of Connor he's never seen before, throws up his hands in surrender.

Connor stands on business when it comes to the people he care about.

Imagine conmor having a crushing (maybe not knowing that it is a crush) on his partner who is already in a relationship, BUT ITS A BAD ONE. They keep being mistreated and scorned and connor notices and just thinks

"I would never do you like that" and then he's like

And then they break up or connor talks them into realizing the relationship is dead and he feels like this is his chance

Connor having a crush is just normal friendly Connor but he smiles more and hangs around a little longer than he used to. It’s almost imperceptible. Almost. Maybe it’s because he’s scared of saying the wrong thing whenever you’re around.

The first time you mention your significant other, Hank literally scoffs, rolling his eyes with a snarky “you’re still giving that piece of shit the time of day?”

And Connor is confused because you never mentioned someone before. It kinda... puts him off, but he can't pinpoint why.

When he learns that your partner is an actual piece of shit, he gets angry. How could anyone treat you like that? Someone that supposedly cares about you? You? You're perfect. How could anyone do anything but be devoted to you? A romantic relationship is supposed to make you stronger or something something he doesn't really understand. But this? This is unacceptable. It's on sight.

He would never treat you like that. It's not a thought that bothers him at first, because that's not part of his program- to be such an asshole like that. It's when he starts thinking about how he would treat you in place of your current partner that he starts to panic. That's definitely not something he should be thinking about. But he can't turn those feelings off.

The breaking point is when you confide in him that your SO wants you to quit your job. Something about their ego or whatever. Very carefully, he tells you that that is a huge red flag and that you should reconsider the validity of this relationship. You have soooo many better options *wink wink nudge nudge* and you laugh, not in an amused way. You took those domestic abuse trainings too.

So, when he gets a call on a random Tuesday night, he's shocked to hear your voice, shaky with tears explaining that you broke up and that your ex-partner kicked you out in the middle of a storm.

He doesn't hesitate to come get you, bringing you to Hank's with what little you could grab. Tomorrow, he'll escort you back to that apartment and get you the rest of your things. He wants to look this jackass in the eyes and dare them to try something.
