Hello Ariadne, I would like to ask you three questions.

How do you think Rukia Kuchiki would react if she witnessed Ulquiorra "killing" Ichigo and Ichigo turning into a Hollow? Would she be panicked? Would she try to restrain Ichigo or calm him down? What would she do?

2. My friend once asked you to write a story featuring Ichigo, Rukia and Nelliel love triangle, but you refused telling him that you don't ship IchiRuki with Nel. I respect your opinion, but out of curiosity, can you tell me why are you willing to ship IchiRuki with Grimmjow, but not with Nel? I mean, the first time Grimmjow meets Rukia, he stabs her in the stomach with his hand. I don't think Ichigo, the same guy who cut off Yammy's arm just because he broke Chad's arm and who promised that he would force Byakuya to apologize to Rukia for condemning her to execution, would be ok with Grimmjow dating Rukia or even being in the same room as her. Also, I understand why Rukia was willing to forgive Renji and Byakuya (since they were her childhood friend and adopted brother) but she did not have many positive interactions with Grimmjow, who started out as enemy. At best, she would respect him since he switched sides and helped fight Quincy during TYBW arc, but I can't imagine Rukia being willing to mate with Grimmjow or asking him to be her boyfriend. On the other hand, Nelliel helped Ichigo and Rukia find Las Noches and while she was briefly jealous of Rukia's bond with Ichigo when she was trapped in child form, she never attacked her and tried to hurt her like Grimmjow. She is also more friendly and less violent than Grimmjow. So, could you explain to me why are you against IchiRukiNel but willing to pair GrimmIchiRuki? Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinion and please don't think I am some kind of a troll. I just want to understand your reasoning.

3. What do you think about headcanon of Toshiro Hitsugaya being Rukia Kuchiki's half-brother? Personally, I think this theory may have some merit-they both grew up in Rukongai, they are roughly the same age and they both have powers associated with ice-even if it is very unlikely. Do you think it could be funny if in one of the IchiRuki fanfics I am planning to write, Ichigo would be briefly jealous at the idea of Toshiro and Rukia becoming lovers, only for Rukia to tell him that Toshiro is like a little brother to her (literally or symbolically) and so she would never see him as a potential boyfriend?

I think Rukia would be devastated seeing Ichigo "die" and then return as a vasto lorde. It's the thing of her nightmares, because she's seen this before, when Kaien was taken over by Metastacia. I think as the most experienced person there, she would defend Inoue and Ishida, and order Ishida to get Inoue to safety. She's not so stupid as to interfere in the fight between Ulquiorra and Ichigo (at that point in the manga she's not a match for either one), but I do think she'd be the one to bring Ichigo back, and would be able to comfort him once Ulquiorra was dust, which would potentially lead to a different emotional outcome for him.

Grimmjow's hot and I find the potential dynamic between him, Ichigo, and Rukia an interesting one. It's fun, regardless of whether or how such a scenario could come to pass in the canon storyline. On the other hand, I don't particularly care for Nel and am generally uninterested in writing her as a central character.

I've seen Toshiro cast as Rukia's brother/half-brother before. It can be cute. I can't think there's any weight behind this as a canon proposition given that Toshiro grew up in the 1st district of West Rukongai while Rukia grew up in the 78th of South Rukongai. But things don't have to be canon to be interesting. Certainly it could be funny to see Ichigo get jealous over Toshiro and Rukia being "close".
