It's been 3 years since the world lost this incredible girl. This wildly talented, beautiful soul. We've made a lot of new friends since we last posted about Christina Grimmie, and we'd like to take the time today to encourage all of you who haven't had the pleasure to know of her yet, to please learn her name, learn about the amazing person she was, learn about her foundation and it's purpose, and listen to her phenomenal voice and music. 4 years ago in September, the night before the iHeart Radio music festival in Vegas, we ran into Christina by chance. Scotty recognized her from The Voice and insisted we go say hi. Christina would be opening the entire festival the next day, and we were in town to play a charity show also hosted by iHeart Radio. We ended up chatting and getting the warmest hugs ever from her. We also snapped a quick, slightly blurry photo before we said goodbye and wished her good luck on her performance. She smiled and wished us good luck as well. After we met her, we started listening to her music more and more, laughing at her vlogs on YouTube and admiring her steady faith and generous heart. At this point she's had such an impact on who we are as artists ourselves that it's hard to find words to explain. All we know now is that whatever we can do to help spread her name and support her legacy, we will do.
