the energy of this ask is fucking hilarious dsghsdkgjshdgksdhjgkjh like YES dont get me wrong i totally agree, danzō snatched him up when he was like four or five or whatever, and that should totally count towards his time in anbu bc he was being trained by n for use in root black ops BUT i think hokage’s black ops have the stance of like:
“okay yeah sure you did train + serve in danzō’s anbu since you were five but also that’s insane. and he’s insane, and at least WE have some standards...you have to be at LEAST eleven. and also even then you have to be a genius and pass our RIGOROUS Mental Health Evaluation (which your captain, kakashi, passed with flying colors congratulations i’ve never seen a more stable child in my life). who even knows what danzō considers to be good training, you’ll probably have to unlearn it all. anyway as far as we’re concerned you’re just a year one anbu so act like it.”
