Hey meet Iris's older brother, Gris Blue!! He doesn't have a Talent and doesn't care about magic too much. He's more of a tech guy and he's the best hacker out there. He's 19 years old. He likes photography.

i needed some kind of break after my lastest bg pic, so i decided to make sketches of characters i needed to design- this is the first part, Cedraite themed.

Flesh Priest: A Cedraite whose ‘religion’ is based around flesh (both of his kind and other beings). He is called when other Cedraites- especially old/first generation ones, who were made using dead flesh- have issues with their skin. When he is called, he performs rituals to ‘cure’ his client’s flesh. At best it never works, at worst he damages the flesh further by doing such things as putting burning wax on it. He have very little followers, due to the fact that most Cedraites’ religion is usually about Cedra himself; but also because Flesh Priest smells strongly like sweat and an infected cut. Believe or not, he has a wife (his ‘religion’ allows partnership). If it isn’t clear: his ‘coat’ is no coat and is his own flesh- he has multiple layers of skin flaps, and his limbs are somewhat saggy. When I”ll draw his ref, i’ll make a drawing showing how it all looks

Arachne (temporary name): A character i’ve had for a while- a trans male spider Cedraite (typed Envy+Pride) who’s so desperate for friends that he traps anyone he likes in a web he has in his cave. He doesn’t eat them or anything- no instead he feeds them when they need to eat and try to do ‘friend things’ with them like having tea or talking about everyday subjects. As you can guess the trapped people rarely cooperate and just want to be freed.He also has the ability to give diseases via his head's stingers/horns- a mere scratch is enough to give someone said diseases; they tend to be relatively tame fevers, but he uses this to his advantage to get his new 'friends' to stay. He'll even take care of them (or even pamper them really) so they either start liking him, or develop a dependence on him. He usually tends to 'accidentally' stings them, keep his ability a secret and care about them- all the while feeling intense self-loathing for manipulating someone that way. His self-loathing comes from his Envy genes, while his Pride ones are minimal and more targeted at others rather than himself- as in he feels proud of 'owning' friends.He’s envious of any- ANY type of friendship occurring around him. Even the toxic ones, unfortunately; he’s THAT desperate. When he’s not holding someone against their will, he likes to bake; but thing is that the only ingredients available (outside of dead things) to him are rocks, acid from the acid river, and silk. So he tends to ‘bake’ silk with rock chips and acid together. the result tends to melt his guests gums, so he keeps practicing, hoping one day it’ll be ‘edible’.

Protag (not actual name): if i ever make a story this guy will be the protag. He’ll be mischievious or even villainous bc i hate blank slate and/or uwu flawless protags. My first attempt was to make him more ‘in my style’ than he looks in my head- didn’t like it so i gave in and made the second, downright kirbyesque attempt which is how he’s meant to be, according to my brain. So i’m going with that! Also despite how he looks he’s neither a clown or from a circus- that’s his skin he just looks like this. No make up, no clothing.

The Tower (not actual name): obviously based on a certain villain but that's because there's that post saying that HE’s hot and has x reader fanfic and i was like 'am i the only one who thinks the tower eye version is the hot ver?'; i apparently was, indeed, the only one so i make my own boyfriend oc. He’s a War typed Cedraite who's pretty similar to crustaceans- he even has the outer shell. Can he make pearls? Well actually he has an ability- if you put something in his mouth, it'll be spat back out as something objectively worse, AND cursed to boot. For example, if you were to put a beach ball in his mouth, he'd spit back out a cursed metal spike ball. Note that he doesn't really like people playing with his ability- prepare for verbal assault because that's all he can do (he can't move for the most part- only his tongue, teeth and eye can. His teeth move like urchin spikes.) He’s vaguely based on the tarot tower given how apparently that’s the worst one and it makes bad things happen.

Gris: actually an old oc of mine from 2013 (here’s some of the old drawings i did of her). ... Since 2013, she has zero character. The only thing i can say about her is that her ‘leaking stripes’ is actually her acid blood leaking. She’s ok, that’s just how her anatomy is since birth.

Traffic Jam: A Chaos type Cedraite who has the extraordinary and mysterious, but utterly useless ability to cause traffic jams with his mere presence. It’s unknown how exactly he does that- but his tail that looks like a forbidden entry sign might help. He loves causing traffic trouble, and hates rural areas.
