Straight people are being very, very normal about the Aidan Maese-Czeropski scandal
The Nex Benedict murder is an absolute tragedy, and, as I read through articles about it, I feel as if boiling it down to “Oklahoma banned gender-affirming bathrooms for public school students” is a dangerous simplification.
Was the bullying brought on specifically because of the bathroom bills? It started a few months after, and I can’t say it wasn’t an influence.
Chaya Raichik of Libs Of TikTok has also been linked to the murder, and her impact seems more plausible to me, especially since she had already caused controversy at that exact school, and is now an adviser to the Oklahoma State Library Committee. Students are more likely to care about a social media personality than government officials, therefore are more likely to recognize her over Kevin Stitt.
But would Benedict have been safe in a boy’s bathroom? Would a trans-identified male student be safe in the girl’s bathroom with those same girls who killed Benedict? Why or why not? What could be a possible solution, and what could have nipped the entire situation in the bud before that fight ever happened?
You gyns got any ideas?
EDIT: I failed to mention Benedict’s two-spirit identity and Choctaw heritage, and I apologize. My personal opinion is that, as Benedict would be considered “white passing”, that, if the two-spirit history had ever been brought up, the killers simply thought of it as being just as “attention-seeking” as being nonbinary, but I would like to hear more viewpoints, especially from those who actually have Native American heritage.
The last one though…say you’ve never listened to what radfems actually believe without actually saying that 😂
How is not wanting people to use slurs a bad thing?
“Reneé Rapp is my wife!” “Chappell Roan is my wife!” cool would you show that support to any lesbian singer that doesn’t adhere to hyperfeminine and oversexualized standards?
Mention gay people for one dollar
Men be like “My self-made issues are just as urgent and important as women’s fundamental rights being stripped away 🥺.” This also demonstrates how men can’t do things simply because it’s the right thing to do, in this case supporting abortion rights, instead seeing everything as a trade-off. The average man will not do any good unless he sees a way that he can benefit from it.
Back covers of gendertrash #1 and #2, 1993
I think these explain everything the trans movement stands for in a simple and concise way, don’t you? They’ve always been against homosexual people, always, always, always
