I was going back through some earlier chapters of a long LU fic of mine, just touching up and refamiliarizing myself with it before I wrote new stuff, when I realized:

Link/Wind was shot out of a catapult in that Wind Waker cutscene, not a cannon!

I feel like a lot of folks (myself included) miss-remember this fact. So I had to re-write some dialogue. But that's ok because now I have this!

Sky blinked in amazement. That almost sounded like… No. It couldn’t be. “You’re not talking about—I can’t believe I’m saying this—the Groosenator, are you?” Wind pulled an odd, pinched expression, somewhere between deep thought and utter confusion. “What? Wait lemme think… why is that… Oh! Yeah, actually I think my Grandma had an old school book that said something about a lot of early inventions all having this one guy’s name tacked onto them? Hey, and that goosen-something you mentioned…” “Groosenator.” “Bless you. But Yeah! I think that was the name of the earliest catapult or something?” Wind gasped as a thought hit him. “WAIT! Do you know the guy who made it?!?”

So earlier in my art class, we found out our next project was foam carving, so we were all sitting trying to figure out what we wanted to do. I jokingly said, "I should do Groose," and almost immediately my two fellow Legend of Zelda friends said, "Oh my gosh you should!!" and we all started freaking out

So uh now I'll be carving Groose's head and I'm not sure how to feel about that

After finishing Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword today (Which BTW Was awesome! No idea why there were so many complaints on it.) I realized that this bugger never gets any love. Groose really developed as a character throughout the story and I grew to really respect him. He's an extremely under rated character!! I had to doodle him. But I'm terrible at backgrounds. I kinda tried. Lmao T__T #TheGrooseIsFinallyLoose

so i plugged in my old flash drive and i found a vocabulary assignment i did in high school and JESEUS CHRSIT

here it is

Every morning, Groose made a thorough perusal of his appearance to assure that he had styled his pompadour to perfection.

Groose sat in front of the mirror and ruminated on his reflection, admiring the slickness of his pompadour.

The poignant smell of Groose’s costly perfumes and hair products permeated his room with an acrid air.

Groose inveigled many a neighbor into joining his fan club with talk even smoother than his pompadour.

When Groose asked of his minions their opinion on his appearance, they eagerly vouchsafed him of his superior good looks.

Groose did not hesitate to flatten any fellow villager who brusquely told him that his pompadour looked bad.

Groose interpreted the compliment on his hair from the much-esteemed princess as a harbinger of his future destiny to obtain the slickest pompadour in the world.

Groose let out a plaintive cry of sorrow when he learned that he had placed merely second in the Annual Best Pompadour in Town Contest.
