starco and driving lessons.....tell me your headcanons
oh my god keep Star off the FRICKEN road.
1. Marco has been avoiding this FOREVER but Angie is like “Mijo do you want to drive Star around forever?” and Star gets all excited and Marco promptly slams his head into the dinner table cus now he HAS to teach her.
2. “Why are there 3 pedals?” “I don’t know.” “Well if you don’t know then why are you teaching me?” “Because anyone else would have jumped out of the window by now.”
3. Star hits the curb 15 times on the first day. 12 on the second. Marco considers this improvement.
4. They drive Marco’s parents' mini van and Star gets distracted cus they have Finding Dory in the DVD player. So instead of practicing parallel parking they watch it in the parking lot.
5. Marco throws up when she slams on the break for the 4th time.
6. Star freaks out when a squirrel crosses the road and honks on the horn repeatedly to get it to move. It doesn’t.
7. Star likes the sound of the horn so much that she uses it at a stop light. The person in the car in front of them gets out and is FURIOUS and Marco has to put the van in park and runs out to calm them down.
8. “Are you familiar with the gear shift?” “You mean… the prindle?” “The what?” “The PRINDLE!” “Are you referring to the shift lever that says P-R-N-D-L?” “I’m not a child, Marco, I know how to spell prindle.” “It is not something you spell. It is a gear shift. The letters stand for: PARK, REVERSE, NEUTRAL, DRIVE and LOW!”“You’re making me nervous with all this technical talk!” “OH! I’m sorry. Why don’t we just relax and turn on the radio? Would you like AHMMMM OR FIMMMM?”
9. Marco has to explain again that no, invisible goats do not pull automobiles on earth. And no, they are not in the trunk.
10. Star fails her driving test lmfao

Marco takes her out to ice cream after that and she cries cus “I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT WHAT HAPPENED.” And Marco puts his arm around her in comfort and is like “Well first off, you drove on the grass for 50% of the course. You also ran a stop sign. And you hit all of the cones. And you almost hit that old man at the end. And -” Star pushes his face into his ice cream at that point.
