I had another surgery. I now have a double lumen groshong line! Hopefully. And I mean, H O P E F U L L Y. I won't need another central line surgery or procedure for a long time.
The day after surgery and the day of I was in a lot of pain. They attempted to place the line closer to my collarbone. But, alas. EDS veins. My vein was too small and frail for the line. So, we went to my jugular vein. My neck was extremely sore and tender.
But it's much better now! So I'm definitely thankful for that.
But I think the funniest part of this, is the fact that literally I have a boob tube. Like no joke. A boob tube. My surgeon threaded the line down and it exits literally about 2 in. Away from the nip.
Well. I guess that's life for ya.
