So we had another meeting with our group (team F) and we reviewed the corridor space that we were allocated and discussed the possible set up. This was a well needed meeting as we had, had Easter holiday in between being given the project and the exhibition. As a group I feel that we did really well communicating over Facebook and text, during the break. we all posted our progress whether that is research or some of the work itself and we were all able to give constructive criticism and insight into certain topics and works.
The corridor space that we were given is in actual fact a large space, there is a lot of wall space and despite not being able to have any sculpture in the centre of the corridor we do have a lot of space. There are challenges however with the space as it is the route to a fire exit and therefore any 3D work has to be within the health and safety guidelines. We were also told that we were not able to hand things from the ceiling as this was a fire hazard. With this in mind we swiftly applied for project space 5 however it was fully booked until the end of May. Although this meant that people like Ryan had to re-think their concepts and ideas I think that these restrictions are going to challenge us and think about how to use the space we have in an effective manner.
