On this day, November 21st, 2025, exactly 100 days have passed since the YouTube AI policy was implemented, and the Boycott / Blackout was conducted in protest.
This is your friendly reminder that using AI to make executive decisions, such as being used to determine who is and is not a minor, has repeatedly failed in the past, such as when a company's human resources used AI to select only the most applicable candidates for their job and didn't have a hire in months because EVERYONE was rejected.
Using AI to a certain degree will yield a wide range of both results and responses. Some will say ya, others nay. Regardless of one's position on AI as a whole, I believe we can all agree that a policy that is expected to fail and requires either a face-cam or GOVT ID cannot be accepted as a policy.
But it is, either through ignorance or apathy, and this policy has been in effect for 100 days and has been shifted for use outside of the United States of America. Please, if you can, find other means besides YouTube's website and app to both entertain and be entertained, even if it requires a third party (BUT NEVER AT THE RISK OF YOUR COMFORT). If not for yourself, then for those who are around you.
