it's just a drabble, smth I did without checking for spelling mistakes so sorry for any mistakes. i lost track of things and finished it in rush... sorry for any mistakes!!

It was around 8pm when a dark, exhausted looking figure appeared in Saikis room. For few seconds they just stood there, looking around and hoping that Saiki would move over a bit on his bed.
"You're staring... what is it?" Saiki asked as he looked up from his book. He got no answer from his partner as they sat down on the edge of bed and looked in one direction.
Saiki put away the book, sat up and observed the figure before him. Slouched posture, visibly tensed shoulders and head hanging low. He could hear from time to time a bit louder sigh.
"How long today?" Shame washed over his partners face as they hid further into their (saikis) hoodie.
"Eight?" Barely visible shake of their head. "Nine..?" Another shake, another silent 'no'. "I'll just skip ten then... Eleven."
They didn't shake their head for few seconds. They didn't move at all, being too afraid to admit how long they have been at school today. How long it took them to finish that one assignment, that one thing they put away for so long because it scared them off.
"Did you eat something?" A gentle nod this time. Saiki knew if they would be lying, but it seemed they didn't have the energy for even this.. "Good."
They didn't feel him move, they didn't even feel when they fell down next to him, cuddled up into his chest. Saiki wasn't the one to initiate physical contact. Pda or any kind of affection in public was... well, it wasn't there and at home it was mostly them that initiated anything; cuddles, kisses, hugs or holding hands.
"You've done enough for today... rest now" his voice gentle. his voice... something Saiki used only when he thought it was necessary. He remembered how this exhausted blob lover mentioned to him that his voice was nice, calming even. Using his voice in this situation would help.
"Just focus on your and mine breathing... in and out, slowly... You'll fall asleep soon and rest well. I'll make sure of that .."
A pair of tired eyes looked at him, blinked once as in 'thank you' and closed them again. They fell asleep quickly, snuggled on top of Saiki chest. The all-knowing psychic brushes their hair gently, kissing the top of their head from time to time.
All the exhaustion and fatigue faded away with each kiss, each quiet 'I love you'
